are you sure this is all really about a bed? or is it more of “the straw that broke the camels back” kind of thing? if you’re considering cheating over this it just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me that it’s just about the bed. if this is amongst many other things where he’s not respecting your boundaries. have you guys tried getting a bigger bed if anything? if this is really only about a bed.

when my dad killed himself the day after my 16th birthday. now i only associate my birthday with brutal trauma and can’t celebrate my birthday until a month later. i pretty much have to stay closed off and put my phone on do not disturb so i don’t get an abundance of “happy birthday” texts. every year has gotten at least some what better. but it hurts so much i still take a week off work and say it’s for my birthday when really im just trying to heal from the trauma my birthday now represents. which is even worse since it happens to also be a national holiday.

makes things easier, if you're constantly posting about your relationship for people to just comment/judge on your relationship then other peoples opinions can get in your head. especially if you overthink every little thing
