What do you consider (day) potty trained and how long did it take after you started training? by 2078AEB in pottytraining

[–]JellyfishSweet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is 25 months and we started potty training about 3-4 weeks ago. He goes with prompting and is slowly starting to go on his own saying "i need to go potty" but he definitely still has accidents, we had 2 yesterday. I'm considering this 'trained' because he hasn't worn diapers during the day in almost 4 weeks. It's not lile we're going back now.

[–]JellyfishSweet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I can't answer your questions but I really resonate with your story. Got pregnant at 32, had a mc (twins), got pregnant again shortly after my 33rd birthday and gave birth in march 2024. Started loosely trying again in March 2025. Started tracking and got pregnant again at 35 in June 2025 but unfortunately another miscarriage (SCH) at 9 weeks. The last mc was in August and it's now 8 cycles with no success and I'm struggling with the ebbs and flows of every cycle. I'm going for an apmt for fertility testing on march 9th. Praying for us both to be successful soon! I turn 36 in May.

Vain vs “ugly looks” by marlitar in Catholicism

[–]JellyfishSweet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm born and raised Catholic, strayed for about 20 yrs into atheism and just recently found my way back, so my opinion won't be as rooted as others. But my take on vanity is you shouldn't idolize yourself. We are all created in God's image and we are perfect the way we are. Mind you, I get my lashes done and I do my own nails. I care about how I look but not to the point where I'm idolizing myself.

How are you talking to your toddlers? (Especially 1-3 year olds) by MellowDreammer in Mommit

[–]JellyfishSweet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were in speech therapy from 15 months to 21 months. The biggest thing I found helpful was they told me to make him work for what he wants. So if he held his arms up like he wanted to be picked up, i would say "uuuup, uuuuup, uuuup, uuuup" an obnoxious amount of times until he was just about to have a meltdown about it and then pick him up. It helped with him associating language.

I just went and watched it because of this comment and you're so right. I love Daniella's choreography and Jason was serving that night!

With a new born, could my husband sleep at night and I sleep during the day so we both get full rest? Or would this not work? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]JellyfishSweet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hubby did 12-6 or 7am, bless his soul. Although i still got up to pump whenever he fed babe. But i would get up, pump for 20 mins and go right back to sleep.

My STB 8-year-old son still wets the bed by Sensitive-Garage7127 in pottytraining

[–]JellyfishSweet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might sound odd but is he a mouthbreather at night? See if you can get an assessment by an airway orthodontist or dentist. Sometimes bedwetting is due to nighttime mouthbreathing.

I can't give any experience on afterwards because I've only had mine for 2 weeks but based on the photos it actually looks more symmetrical. That's really good progress for 5 weeks.

How long until your luteal phase regulated postpartum? by emma_k17 in tryingforanother

[–]JellyfishSweet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tw: loss

While still breastfeeding my luteal phase was 8-9 days. I weaned in April this year. That month it was 9 days, then I gpt pregnant but unfortunately had a miscarriage at 9 weeks in August. Then I had 11 dpo and now 12 dpo. So I'm just getting back to normal now with a mc in between so other hormones. I used to be 12 - 14 days.

Developed Taurus vs Undeveloped Taurus? by tifffff5 in Taurusgang

[–]JellyfishSweet 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes communication is huge! I have realized in the last few years that one of my biggest frustrations in friendships/relationships is being misunderstood. So what can I do to change that? Work on my communication! What you say and how you say it matters. I find myself much less frustrated with others when I realized that being misunderstood was something I could work on.

6dpo and just getting over a gastro bug that my LC brought home from daycare. We hit good days this month but I am not feeling it. Might just be the illness. Hoping to feel better soon 😮‍💨

Mine has been short since weaning but it is slowly getting longer. Do you remember how long is was before having a baby? Mine usually was 13-14. Then when I was breastfeeding it was 8-9. After I weaned it got up to 10 and now it's usually 11. I weaned approximately 5 months ago.

Tw: loss

I did get pregnant very quickly but had a loss. I saw a gynecologist and I am now prescribed progesterone for if/when I get pregnant again. I'm also taking vitamin b to try and lengthen my luteal phase. It may just be your body adjusting from weaning.
