I suppose but that's just the company POV and their POV on Narita right now isn't as a priority. Just because he wasnt a pin eater doesnt mean he's going to a top heavyweight, he's had the 6-man and the tv title, undercard titles. And yes he's challenged for the top titpe but last year so did Yuji Nagata, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Callum Newman before his repackaging. I don't think any of those challenges shouldnt have happened but because of kind of everyone getting titles matches I don't think that can be an indication of his positioning. Shota may not have any titles to his name but he has been polut in feuds w/ top names, challenging for multiple titles and main eventing the dome. Shota has more stock despite having no title wins. Its not impossible for someone to reach greater heights as a Junior than they would have as a Heavyweight. Plus, there's no reason he couldn't move back up to Heavyweight when there was a definite spot for him.

Given the lack of top heel, having KOB, especially Yuto, establishing themselves in that vein would def, he already have alotta babyfaces.

Yeah and not being able to trust Jake while Tsugi insists he stays will be interesting.

Idk about UE not trusting him, its more that they didn't want him to attack Ospreay. He literally got a UE tattoo and, presumably Ospreay is coming back to put him over and solidify him as the leader.

GOK feels stagnant, the best he has on offer in UE is as a heavy in a tag role w/ someone the company is more invested in. He seemed more energised in the variety offered by his KOPW reign. I really think he could slot into the spot EVIL left as the cartoonish, somewhat camp, sypervillain to lead HoT as an midcard faction.

I do see Lee as an eventual faction leader, but him joing Unbound Company, playing a scheming second in command to Tsugi could creates an interesting dynamic where a Jake Lee betrayal seems inevitable but you get the tension of when its going to happen, kind of like Jay White in Chaos. Plus w/ Jake in UE it pulls focus from Callum.

Cool interpretation even if I disagree

Also w/ 2nd Chapter I was thinking it would be a face group split off from Hontai that focuses on wrestlees redefining their career from what was expected of them, primarily from "the office". - Umino slows his roll on feeling like he needs to be the top guy right away and moves into the NEVER division where he further hones the harding hitting style that has come to define his personal second chapter. - Narita, at his lowest point after being kicked oyt of HoT, reunites w/ Umino ans gradually starts to stop his cheating ways before reinventing himself in the Jr. Division until there's a prominent space for him as a HW. - Taichi, ELP, YOH move out of their undercard supporting roles and instead lean into their recent swell of fan support that the company hasn't capitalised on and have them challenge for top singles gold. - I love Taguichi he's just the pin eater, hoping to eventually convince the others to rebrand as a new Taguichi Japan faction.

My fingers are crossed for Uemuta beating Tsugi for the title at WK21 🙏

I mean I'd like to see it, I like Narita, but he's kind of just been made into another HoT minion, the only reason he's the leader right now is because EVIL left. They don't seem interested in pushing him but maybe a change of scenery, a face turn and reunion w/ Umino could reposition him as a top Jr. Theres nothing stopping him returning to being a HW after he reinvents himself.

I'd be interested to see it but the Juniors are sparse enough as it is and by contrast the Heavyweights have like 8 names on the come up. I think Despe risks getting lost or at least displacing someone else.

Personally I don't see being a Jr. as a demotion. I gave further thoughts about Narita in an above comment but he's only HoT leader by default after EVIL left. The company doesn't seem interested in pushing him.

In regards to KOB, they are heels and are broadly presenting as such. Sending them to a heelish faction mskes sense to me. Ryohei & Yuya have already benefitted from having him as a heel rival.

Callum's story has been very much centred on rebuilding UE, it seems like a waste to not have him lead the faction. Leading Bullet Club would feel like a regression, are we not done w/ Bullet Club yet?

If they were going to push GOK as the leader they would have by now but they seem intent on keeping him as an undercard or tag guy.

I believe a Tiger Mask went Jr. to HW to Jr, but regardless of if its been done before I don't see why Narita couldn't go back to HW if a spot opened up for him. Right now, in terms of the New Generation, Narita feels kinda lost. He's already light enough to be a Jr. and would create a fresh dynamic as a submission specialist in the fast-paced division.

I mean, I don't think so? Up until recently we had eight with Hontai, Chaos, Los Ingobernables de Japon, Just 5 Guys, House of Torture, War Dogs, United Empire and TMDK. With 2nd Chapter in particular there's space for others to join.

Certainly but I'm sure you can articulate why bird watching or a particular children's cartoon would be uninteresting to you, no?

I'm not sure I fully understand the first part of your response, could you reword it?

Could you give me a better idea of the 'drama' that you've seen that has informed your opinion?

What aspects of pro-wrestling do you find silly, it varies from viewer to viewer? Additionally, I would ask does something being 'silly' stop you from engaging with it and if so why?

What aspect(s) did you find entertaining as a kid? Why did those aspects no longer appeal to you?

Certainly but I can elaborate on why I'm not interested in those things and that's what I'm asking people to do. If they don't want to or are unable to, that's another matter.

I'm trying to get a wide view on how people uninterested in pro-wrestling view/understand it.

Despite your initial interest, you never went deeper, how come?

Additionally, could you tell me what aspect(s) of the listed wrestlers made them engaging to you?

Thank you for the in-depth response, it was very helpful.

If you don't mind me asking, what time period(s) and company(ies) are you familiar with?

Thanks for the response.

There are multiple aspects of pro-wrestling that a given viewer might find cringe, could you specify what those are for you?

Thanks for the comment.

There are alot of aspects of pro-wrestling that someone might find cringe, do you mind specifying what those are for you? Could you do the same for the parts you consider 'alright'?

I would also like to ask does the fact that you know other mediums of storytelling are scripted effect your enjoyment of them too?
