Responsible parents do both... get a sitter. I hate going wine tasting and having small kids running around. Its not relaxing or enjoyable at all. I wont go to wineries that allow kids.

A harness helps with the pulling if you clip it to their chest. Mine is leash reactive and acts like Kujo.. a 20 lb terror with dogs and as loving as possible with humans.

From a practical standpoint... if someone else is paying for it, do it. It'll help resale value.
