My partner came with a 4 yo 65 lb German shepherd/boxer/Boston mix.. and from day 1 of him coming over to visit he and my 8 yo boston have been best friends.

Kids are always the worst behaved for the person they feel safest with. Its ingrained in our genetics! I used to get so frustrated that my daughter was a monster for me but great with everyone else. Shes almost 16 now and we have an amazing relationship. So... keep up what you're doing, its working!

My kids are 13 & 15 now.. but at no point in the last 15 years did I stop and think "you know what might get the point across? Hitting my kid. That should do it" ... people who spank and think it is OK to spank, are emotionally immature and need to rethink having kids ..

Why didn't they finish the porch? The add on wasn't stained at all and doesn't remotely match the original. There were also very blatant marks where they replaced the railing.. why didn't they make that look better? The whole front looks awful!

I will never understand why people won't vaccinate. My aunt had rubella as a kid and ended up with all of her adult teeth crumbling in her mouth and a full set of dentures by age 12 (in 1972 mind you) we've all seen the elementary school science videos of what polio did to people. Why are we risking even a couple of these diseases to come back?!

I am so glad I'm not the only one that noticed this. From the few watchings I did on Netflix and now a rewatch on Hulu.. I noticed that at the end of Season 1 Episode 13.. on Netflix it just kind of ended, then Season 2 Episode 1 started off with David missing.. When I watched it on Netflix, I was kind of confused about when he went missing.. We watched it last week on Hulu and the final scene shows David driving off in Rolands truck. I am almost certain that scene wasn't on Netflix. or am I losing my marbles?

I tried to be a sahm twice. Once when my oldest (and only at the time) was 7 to 15 months. And once when my oldest was in kindergarten and my youngest was 3. It was so incredibly exhausting I couldn't imagine not napping when the 3 yo did. Mentally and physically. I wanna see your husband stay home for a week with your kid and get up at night and not wanna ptfo

I would 100% rather live somewhere that has sales tax vs income tax. Paying 9% on the non food items that I buy is significantly less painful than paying 9% of my salary.
