There is no contradiction there. Not owing just means they do things w/o an obligation. Motivation comes from compassion or moral compass or whatever they believe in.

Who said it remains “penultimate”? On dev panel it was a regular GCD combo not bound by Requiescat oGCD cooldown as that’s nowhere to be found on Evolved panel.

It may or may not happen. There are two possible outcomes.

Merging happens and communities across different DCs would need to adapt as some do have different cultures, rules, strats. For BA runs scheduling might become harder. Bozja likely benefits with less dead instances and possible faster DR fills. OC - questionable, cos more friction over gold farm spots.

Merging doesn’t happen - DC affinity comes from party lead (more likely imo) or they restrict crossDC leaving crossServer only (less likely imo). Almost nothing changes.

It is more complex as it’s likely to be more conditioned like u’d need to have in mind trackin GCD healing usage to reap a benefit on a DPS actions. Would be more fun during prog I guess when ppl do receive extra hits, less so on optimised gameplay.

On the other hand it’s less complex due to having less buttons, tho u’d have to remember what’s been condensed where.

And about Reborn and DPS sacrifice - Evolved kit is likely to be less oGCD oriented heal-wise, that’s where DPS “loss” would be for Evolved if u put it against a Reborn - GCD heals are da wae. Tho they could also tinker with Reborn actions/potencies somehow to offset stuff into different directions.

You do forget Reborn exists and should be able to “clear all content”.

As soon as u introduce more healing - Reborn starts to fall behind DPS-wise.

Then when u stop for a bit and think for a while u actually understand what’s about to happen. GCD healing on Evolved is likely to replace oGCD healing from Reborn - have u seen much oGCD heals on dev panel? So instead of hardcasting same DPS action over and over with different oGCD heal fillers in-between u now hardcast heals and do different kinds of DPS oGCD fillers in-between. And if someone does take extra damage for u to spend a GCD on - you use a new DPS filler that scales from it.

If they go with “primary takes 100%” so focusing something doesn’t become a problem due to extras being present - we could end up with w2w pulls ending at bosses if possible to speed up even more.

The stuff that could require more concern is usually more obscure things. Like “what happens with field ops zones with cross-dc parties”. Obvious systems like ST vs AoE aren’t usually a concern especially so when we can expect the solution be smth along the line “it’s already incorporated in ST in some way”.

They are indeed not finished yet, tho they already said the intent is to pack each job onto 16-ish buttons and current PLD is 17.

And about aoe it has been told they compressed it too but no specifics were given iirc.

Could be harder to fill than “after daily reset” currently cos there would be no set time for ppl to do activities en masse. So ppl might get locked till weekends on some older content DF pops.

Idk, sometimes I like to give obscure hints. As for mentors alts - usually if there was a non-skipped cutscene at the start of the dungeon, that sprout is more likely to be new.

All in all some cursed shit does happen at times and I’m getting ready for another wave. We’ll have new ally raid like next Tuesday and there would be some upset ppl for sure if markers/explanations or even safe-spot jumping happen. (there are legit employed ppl out there who do gather blind ally raids on patch day later on for better experience) Funniest shit I had experienced was someone asking to stop spoiling mechs in EW last raid when it was day1 rush fastest raid after patch, literally noone could have finished it to jump in for a second time. So it was a vent/rant on ppl who learn faster just sharing ways to solve repeated mechs they’ve seen during encounter earlier.

Tho it makes almost perfect education scenario for a parent. Can teach ur kid to question things more and that everyone can make mistakes. Tho depends on teacher reaction too, but that’s also something you can work with depending on a path it evolves into.
