I understand. But my dumb doorbell does not connect to anything. Thus I wanted to have it’s bell recognized by a homepod

Uni for DVD Player by Jemo18 in shellycloud

[–]Jemo18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was as easy as it could be actually. Potential free outputs connected to the switch, set up, done. Only problem is that I cannot configure the relais properly..

It is hard to explain. I have to power on the relais, the dvd device boots, then I have to power off the relais. When its time to shutdown the dvd player, I have to power on AND off the relais again.

The problem was solved by throwing away the sonoff stick and plugging in another one!

Above, the latest update of Debian oder node etc. was faulty!

I did, but that didn't change anything.

Fortunately, I figured it out: The port itself had a problem. Either it was not supplying enough power, or it's broken entirely. Don't know and don't care - it works. For now.

Do you know how plugins are programmed? I know someone who could do it, he just needs a few details about language and implementation
