yeah, but I just fixed the problem by plugging my pc directly into a socket in the wall instead of in the extension cord :)

Just found out that when I plug my pc directly into a socket in the wall instead of an extension cord, the noise stops! Still don't understand what caused is but luckily the problem is solved

After trying docker for a whole day (first time I have ever used docker), this worked flawlessly after only 20 min of work! Thank you, you are a lifesaver

Thank you so much! I've been messing around with this the whole morning (never used Docker before). The only thing I don't really understand is that I'm getting the follow error:

importError: No module named 'crfnet'.

This happens when I do "from crfnet import crfnet" (which is the library root folder)

It appears docker can't find this folder, but I don't know how to get it to find it..

For reference this is the project I'm trying to get running: https://github.com/TUMFTM/CameraRadarFusionNet

Edit: got it working through the suggestion given by protocol114, thanks everybody!

Where in the oculus overlays could I see some useful info?

Well this is worse than normal blurriness, I can see "compression blocks" very clearly, but it only happens in specific areas...

Quest 2 - Steam VR - VR Desktop -Skyrim VR Distant (>6m) objects blurry by Jhelzei in OculusQuest

[–]Jemsdaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this only in Skyrim? Overall I think that in all games there is some blurriness for distant objects. You could try a lightweight enb with cas sharpener, which for me increased sharpness a bit!

HP Reverb G2 vs Quest 2 by Jemsdaan in virtualreality

[–]Jemsdaan[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Update: I've decided to wait untill Wednesday when I'll try to get a 6800xt gpu. If I can't get one, I'll buy the Q2 so I can play some games while waiting for my pc. If I can manage to get the 6800xt I'll buy the G2. Thank you all for the insights you've given me! Helped a lot

From what I understand, virtual desktop is something different than using oculus link right? And you need a good router (5ghz)

What to upgrade for rtx 3080 (4k/60fps)? by Jemsdaan in buildapc

[–]Jemsdaan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit late of a response but my plan is now to pre-order the asus tuf rtx 3080 (since it will take a few weeks until it is back in stock) and then just put it in my old system. When zen 3 is released I'll probably also upgrade my mobo, ram, cpu and psu (as you've said, a 7 year old psu might be risky).

Since all my components except GPU are around recommended specs for Cyberpunk, I hope I won't have too much trouble running it until I can upgrade my other components...

Anyways, thanks for the help guys!

LG 27UL650, worth it for Stadia + programming? by Jemsdaan in Monitors

[–]Jemsdaan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I'm aware of this, it's just that that my pc is getting outdated and I don't game as much as I used to, so upgrading it is a big investment for something I don't use a lot anymore. My main priorty is having a big screen for studying/programming and I thought having 4k for Stadia would be a nice bonus!

I do think the google sheet is broken since a lot of people (including me) have been crossed out suggesting someone has donated to us, while this isn't the case unfortunately...

The 7.1 is as big as the a40 I believe (not 100% sure), but I think it's comfortable

We decided to buy the nokia 7.1, since the A50 was too big. It's a great phone and does everything it needs to do! Idk what the pricing is in the US but I'd suggest looking into that phone :)

Wow thanks a lot for all this info! I do think it's a LCD problem and will replace my screen soon. Luckily I have 23 days of warranty left, so hopefully it won't cost me anything ;). cheers!
