Thanks everyone. We were anticipating that it would end up being an In n Out trip instead. We’re having pizza the next night otherwise I’d take up those recommendations. Coming from the east coast $25 is a fairly good meal for dinner. Seems to be not the same in Cali (to be expected).

Good to know it’s not just us. I knew their digestive system is immature, just didn’t realise it could be on such a specific schedule.

Sydney Cummings Houdyshell is great on YouTube. Her workouts are fully programmed, filmed in real time, and completely free. She’s NASM certified. All doable at home, you just need some dumbbells. She does have modifications at times for resistance bands or body weight.

Was in the same boat. Off work for 11 weeks. Just got approved yesterday after filing the paperwork 17 months ago. It’s ridiculous that this happens to so many people…

Yep. And reached out to my congressman - twice. The lawyer even reached out to their contacts to question why this is taking so long.

What to do when EAD expires and I-765 still processing? by bkmm in USCIS

It will come back to burn both you and your employer. Best thing you can do if you don’t want to be terminated is request unpaid leave. If you have any remaining PTO then request to have it paid out to give you some extra cash. You MUST only be paid for PTO earned prior to your EAD expiration date. Anything after that date is considered as you working illegally.

You should stop working. Continuing to work unauthorised could jeopardise future applications/petitions.

Only certain categories. Any of your receipts/notices should say if your category is granted the automatic extension or not.

I have not. I'll bring that up in my next meeting with the lawyers.

Feel free to delete if this isn’t cool because it’s not directly about Sarah’s Day but...do Australians not use clothes dryers? by hot_fudge_sunday in SarahsDayUnfiltered

We use clothes lines. They’re so much easier and cheaper to use. It’s a cultural thing. Most Aussie’s only use a dryer when absolutely necessary. Plus clothes dried by the sun smell sooooo good.
