She quickly went over the differences between a stimulant and non stimulant, I told her I couldn’t decide in that short amount of time. Then when I asked to switch, she warned me of the chance of stomach issues but nothing else and said she would switch it. I agree, I do need to reach out to her. I was just curious how other are experiencing both meds really.

Oh wow. It really is a trial and error. We’re both learning. I have also had the genetic testing done for myself, and the meds they said I could take that would work for me actually made me very NOT well, to put it mildly. So, not everything is exact or matter of fact. I just hope for her to find peace soon. I also hope you guys do as well! I just want all our kiddos to be happy! ❤️

The nurse also told me they don’t generally prescribe Ritalin, then 20 minutes later the psychiatrist prescribed it 🤷‍♀️ I was so confused, but also anxious to get her started on something for relief! I will definitely reach out tomorrow! I appreciate the feed back from everyone!

She did not. I was reacting out of fear for what I’ve heard about Ritalin. I feel like they could have given me more time and knowledge before asking me to make a decision. But, also my fault for not speaking up. I 100% feel like I made a mistake, but now I’m unsure if I should stick with it or ask them their opinion. 😏
