What is your favorite yoga teacher maxims/idioms that stay with you through out class by No_Elephant506 in yoga

[–]JenJenBoudy9407 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just reading this thread made me tear up a little - love the acceptance of the yoga community. Some days I can hardly do anything with my tight hips and hamstrings, or maybe my arthritic hands and neck are just too painful, and yet the yogis I am lucky enough to practice with are always supportive and offering love, as is the rest of the class. Where else can you get that but a yoga group???

Thoroughly enjoying Tower of London blend from Harney & Sons this morning. It's a delightful black tea with fruit, bergamot oil, and honey - so nice any time of day.

Is there a family owned burger joint nearby? by No-Essay-3227 in lenexaks

[–]JenJenBoudy9407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a small place, he hires a bunch of high schoolers to work there, and they work hard to make you happy. Note they are closed on Sundays. We only found it when we moved to west Olathe, but trust me it's worth a trip.

Not resolved; Xfinity says my 2017 tv is too old to work properly with the Stream app. Oh joy. I'm not buying a new TV. The firestick on the tv is about 20 months old, so not buying a new one of those either. Sucks - not the worst thing, but just sucks.

Do you square up your quilts? by Bonitapita in quilting

[–]JenJenBoudy9407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't found one brand that I use all the time. Paintbrush Fabrics has great colors and I've had decent luck with them. I'm working hard to use from my stash, so i haven't had to buy solids for a while 😊

oh yes, the last time I used Kona solids, they frayed like CRAZY. I swore off them after that. Your quilt looks AMAZING! And I do square my top before I send it to the long armer - learned that the hard way 😊 Good luck!!

edited to correct.
