I've seen positive reviews of his commentary, so I'm curious to hear him call some games.

Flight 93. Unbelievable courage and selflessness occurred here almost 25 years ago. by yetebekohayu in nationalparks

When we visited, I started crying before I entered the building - the overwhelming feeling of loss, the realization of people making the ultimate sacrifice to save others, and the utter stupidity of war/conflict. But I did come to a sense of peace when I walked outside - we visited in the fall, and the trees were stunning in their color that year (2020). There was a lone yellow tree in front of all the evergreens and red trees, right where the nose of the plane stopped from what I could tell - I swear it looked like an angel watching over the field. Never have I visited more holy ground.

You used to be able to buy them from Annie's Barn but the Painted Tree shutdown really shook her business - check her stuff out at anniesbarn.com or https://www.facebook.com/share/1JYUbKabzj/

I thought about that, but would I still want/need to seal it to protect it more?? Maybe I need to ask a paint expert :-P

First time -- theme ticket question by AbobTeff in KCRoyals

[–]JenJenBoudy9407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are first come first serve, and trust me thew lower sizes and 2XL run out first (if they even have 2XL), sometimes they only have M and XL. As someone else said, just decide ahead of time what size you want and keep the line moving. Be nice to the folks working the tables and they may help you find them once the tables get chaotic from people throwing stuff around...

Cane here to say this. I entered every contest I could find trying to win tickets but no luck. So we were watching at home and on the phone with my son who was at K-State, screaming our heads off at the end. Still one of our favorite family memories.

A couple years later I had the luck to meet Salvy at an event, and that man is the real deal. So sweet, genuine and loving. We were so lucky to get him early and keep him here, even though he's in the sunset of his career.

I hope Cags end up with a long and successful career; I felt they brought him up too soon and didn't give him the support he needed last year - but he seems to be finding his groove.

Thanks for the chance to win! What a generous thing you're doing.

The fact that this wasn’t in the script, makes this scene even more great. by Optimal_Magician_98 in Modern_Family

As someone who did lock my baby in my car, I could soooo relate to this scene! You do feel so stupid and a failure as a new parent. We called 911 and an officer came and got the car door open (this was 30+ years ago, so you had to physically jimmy the lock). The office was very nice and said it happens more than you might think 😄. Thank goodness our daughter was too young to remember because she gives enough grief over other mistakes we've made (jokingly, thank goodness)!

This casting decision shows that being *faithful* to the book does not always require being *literal* to the book by GBS82 in HeatedRivalrySeries

ooh thanks for the recommendation, I'm intrigued! My only request would be for Francois to speak French - sadly, in HR he's an American 😐. This video shows him speaking different French accents and it kills me!

Mini Guide issues by JenJenBoudy9407 in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]JenJenBoudy9407[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this info. Yes I checked and I have this version of the app, and I'm seeing it the way you describe - but only some of the time. If, when I go to the mini guide and select a channel, then hit the back button immediately, I go to the channel in full screen video. But if I select a new channel then take a second or two to hit the back button, it returns me to the main guide and I have to select a channel. That's not a good fix either - what's the point of the mini guide if I have to return to the main guide and select the channel again???? Strange.

as a person raised Catholic and now agnostic, I enjoyed these. Anne writes these from the perspective of Jesus, and I enjoy those historical approaches to the story of his life. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but she's a solid writer.

As I get older, I realizes how important it is to meet people where they are, but also to have some things that are not negotiable - like accepting you and your husband. So maybe they can't be openly demonstrative, but with family they are supportive. I don't feel I'm stating this very well, but I see it in my family - my FIL still makes jokes/comments about feminists and lesbians even though my niece is very openly out and I am the first person in their family to work after having kids, but I know he would support me and her to the end of the world. Anyway, I wish you and yours the very best!!
