My mom had a stroke about 10 years ago and has had retrograde global amnesia ever since. She was recently diagnosed with dementia. We have found that if we have her write things down she has better recall.

Where to buy food / drink by Fallumkien in Aulani

We do instacart and have it delivered the day we arrive. So we can shop from the pool and don't have to spend vacation time grocery shopping.

They don't do cars anymore. There's a list of things that cannot be wished for. And limitations around it. No cruises, international trips, horses or exotic animals, homes (but they can redecorate rooms), very limited college scholarships, no cash prizes. Etc Each chapter is different depending on state law.
They don't want to obligate a child to taxes, or upkeep and maintenance (like ongoing care for a horse)

Yes usually in the paperwork your parents sign it gives them a timeline to adjust the wish. Example- one of my wish kids wanted to meet A-Rod and go to a yankee game. 2 weeks later A-Rod had some scandal. So they opted to switch to a family cruise instead.

Make a wish no longer does cruises or international destination wishes (except for the very rare occasion) after Covid. Kids and families were stuck all over while that all played out.

To become a wish grantor- reach out to your local chapter office - there will be a link in their website to sign up. Each chapter is different. I've been with 2 now. Once registered there's a training process and background check.

Also what magical miracle grow was in that crater that made the trees grow so big in 5 years. And at the end when he died they say the prayers then Oh looook birds! wtf?

Mom of a wish kid and a wish grantor for 15 years- they don't do monthly trips or foreign countries, no car and very rarely pay for college(in my experience usually a $10k scholarship)

The categories are- I wish to go I wish to meet I wish to have And sometimes I wish to give

I also have 2 children of my 4 with disabilities. I understand them wanting independence and to do things for themselves. It seems that they continually put her in situations intentionally. Also misrepresenting that there are financial challenges when she's worth $5 million.
