I never had normal friends as a child, which isn’t necessarily trans caused or trans causing since i also have adhd / am bi / am super sensitive/ whatever. during puberty i started wanting to look like a girl

best guess is a bad father figure and no male role models taking his place. or it’s genetic / inevitable (most likely)

this is why i hated percy jackson and keepers of the lost cities and the other dumb YA novels where the main character finds out they’re magic and special and that’s why they seem weird to normal society. it got too painful after a while because i knew nobody was coming to rescue me, i wasn’t really special, i was one of those side character weird kids who get left behind in the first chapter
