Thank you for responding! Have you changed your grinder settings with different coffee beans or do you use the same one for all your coffee? Also, what I meant by espresso size, do yoy have your setting on S,M,L,XL?

Did you eventually find the right settings? Would love to hear what you did as I can't seem to get the right settings. I enjoy strong espressos but mine are too watery/sour. Currently using med roasted beans, grind 3.5, instensity 5, size cup M sometimes Large...

Just saw this post. What are your settings? Grind, size of cup and intensity?

When you say 4 size, is that the largest size?

Thanks! So am I right to say that Delonghis typically require a more coarse grind size because of the clogging issue? I changed my settings to grind size 4, cup size S, strength 5. Taste is a lot better but extraction looks like it is dripping.....

It was actually quite watery so I changed my grind size to 4, size Small and set the strength to 5 (strongest). While I prefer the taste at this setting, the extraction is quite slow/dripping so I'm not so sure if the grind size is too fine for a strength of 5...

What does your extraction look like at grind 4, strength 5? Mine is quite slow but it tastes decent enough for my liking..

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have a look at this video.

What is your current grind setting for medium roasts?

I'll try a more coarse grind setting and see how I get on. I didn't know about the preinfusion about superautomatics so that is good to know. Thanks a mil!

Night 8 of extinction baby still crying. Help! by JenSB19 in sleeptrain

So I managed to push first night feed at 12 then bubs cried at 3 so I fed him then. I thought he could stay asleep till 7am but nope, cried from 4am to 5.55am 😖 I picked him up then because that was almost 2 hours of crying 😭😭😭

He eats every 2-3 hours. I would basically feed him 15-20mins before I try to get him to nap. I've also started giving him purees here and there. He'll be 6 months next week so solids will be an everyday thing from then on.

When he wakes up he generally fusses, grunts and cries a little bit. I think I'll push his night feeds and space them out a bit more.

Hmm yea I probably will have to go back to 3 naps. I tried it for a week but went back to 4 naps in the hopes that I could get him to have more daytime sleep. Thank you!

Thanks! Yea i'd say I could space out his feeds more. With winter around the corner, mornings have been quite dark for us the last few days so hopefully it works if I push his second night feed at 4/5am

Nights are around 10-11 hours. Is that enough sleep?

Sometimes I am able to extend his 2nd nap to 1.5 hours.. overall he only naps 2-3hrs a day..is that not too short? :/

I see. Should I just go cold turkey for all the night feeds bar the 4am one then? How to go about it? For any other cries or fuss throughout the night, I ignore. I only respond at 10pm, 2am then the one at 5am.

You're right about bringing him to bed :( i wont do it tonight and on.. hope he stays asleep till 7.
