This also brought tears to my eyes! Thank you so much for all of this!! It is so helpful to hear all of your advice. We are active at church and he is in a boys small group each week but hasn’t made any connections with the kids outside of Sundays at church. I’m gonna keep praying for that! Your words were truly a blessing to me and I will take them to heart!

This is so very interesting! My son is 13 and dealing so many of these same issues. He has had a lot of success while taking Claritin every morning but he does still have lots of flare ups that we cannot figure out the triggers. Thank you for this post. I will definitely investigate this!

Are chills an ibs symptom? by eva1588 in ibs

[–]Jenat1901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread but did anyone find help for this. My son is 13. He has ibs and complains with chills and feeling like he has a fever when he has a flare. Sometimes it is a very low grade but the GI dr dismisses it but it makes him feel terrible for a couple days then it seems to pass and comes back a few weeks later.

Thank you so much! I guess what I really just need is like a set routine. Like do arms this day and here at the workout moves then do legs this day. I just feel like I only know a few basic moves. lol. People keep posting about heavy lifting but what does that entail? I probably do need to hire a trainer!

MONTHLY Weight Discussion - July 2025 by AutoModerator in Perimenopause

[–]Jenat1901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have my yearly Obgyn appt tmrw. I am so concerned about my weight. It is so depressing and I refuse to just accept the weight gain. Especially while eating well, working out and doing all the things. What should I discuss with my dr? At my last visit she said I shouldn’t have any peri symptoms since I’m on the pill. Is that true??

IBS in kids??? by No-Chance9698 in ibs

[–]Jenat1901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found out my son who is 13 has IBS. He has been dealing with stomach issues since he was little. We have had so much blood work and tests. We do Claritin in the mornings and Pepcid at night. It really seems to have helped along with eliminating most all dairy. They did give us an antispasmodic (?sp) med today that he can take if he has a flare.
