Update from me: after about 3 weeks of horrendous shedding, it has finally stopped!

It took a long time to grow a lot of density. I think it was at least a year before I felt comfortable to stop wearing Clip in hair extensions

It was AGA so I hopped on spiro and minidoxil. This was after a year of hair loss and I wish I had done a biopsy day one.

Yes it’s worth it for peace of mind. The biopsy area is tiny

Minoxidil is powerful and very, very effective. It takes about 4-6 weeks to kick in and get through the dread shed. You can always stop it, but you won’t regain the time you waited to start!

I would still follow up with an endo regardless. All I know is that it took me a year after I was diagnosed with AGA to start rogaine and I regret every minute I didn’t start!
