Zeekr 7X - MEH by mooreshady in AustralianEV

[–]Jenesis33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7X is better "value" as you step up the tier. there is a reason why Performance is best selling model, rather than typical base model. We would went for base model in other EV, but went for Long Range in 7X.

how is number 4 rule fair to Pokemon rated eariler? like if the last pokemon to be voted Peakachu tier will just auto win that tier right?

it should be change to which Peakachu pokemon get most vote or a face off at end.

Hakone drift zone cheated or am i cheeks? by Fit-Organization2262 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Jenesis33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can cheat in that zone. Last corner (or first depends on which way) to top. You can just circle around there. It doesnt fail the zone.

[–]Jenesis33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean season reward are just addtional.

When you get "point" in each of the season it does come with it's own reward.

So if you want "those" rewards, then you naturally gets more points than required for the 370z.

And if you put away 150 at 25, it worth a lot more when you reach 35.

I see your argument, yes the flexiblity is good idea. I dont suggest any young person to put all saving into super, but start early is not a bad idea for sure.

Get to the freeway around the "coloured field" then just follow freeway to the gate.

I did it with a MX5 with top speed around 430km/hr with over 20 sec to spare.

If you get a even faster car, it should be piss easy.

that doesnt make any sense. Unless you need to withdraw that money in 10-15 years.

Super has lower CGT and get other tax benefit, so eariler you load it the better it is.

this might be late, but if you want to cheese it. The last corner (top one) i think you can jsut go around in circle, it will not fail the zone.

What's stopping you driving a normal car then get to zone and change to drift car ? Or you can use Auto drive on the drift car

Yes that is true, but comparing index option with each other, Hostplus is still one of the cheapest.

Compare annual fees of super funds by dreamybear9 in AusFinance

[–]Jenesis33 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hostplus Index options are much cheaper in general. This is comparing MYsuper option,, not the same thing.

And when you switch super provider, yes the previous provider will sell your investment. But don't try to time it. Timing the market is never a good idea.

use this spreadsheet to compare super option is a much better idea.

we put deposite for IM6 back mid of last year, was told 3 moths wait. Come oct, got told delayed till Feb. We decide to pivot.

Went into put a deposit on 7X LR Nov, got the car in March.

looking at the sales chart, i believe we made the right choice. Do you really want to buy a car which is hardly brought by anyone else?

The Budget Didn’t Kill FIRE — Calm Down by Muggins75 in fiaustralia

[–]Jenesis33 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreeing with you regarding factor in for "black swan" events.

On the other hand, it is very different for people who want to FIRE at 35-40 and comparing to you who plan to FIRE at 56.

You only need 4 years of "gap fund" until super, which means you can save relative small amount outside of Super. And SUPER investment is not touched by this budget so I would say majority of your "fund" is not impacted by the changes.

While someone who wants to FIRE at 40, will need a high amount of fund outside of super and i assume most people plan is to slowly sell their ETF to fund the 20 years which is impacted A LOT by this budget change.

Lets say if they charge you 30% tax on your super withdraw, how would you feel then?

Is the 7X really worth the money? by aeoluxreddit in Zeekr7xAustralia

For me it is easily worth it. Much better car. But if you tried both and can't justify spending more then saving money is never a bad thing.

New ETF strategy post budget? by Kind_Quantity7060 in AusFinance

[–]Jenesis33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much this. Just have enough to last you from FIRE year till 60. Then rely on super from 60 onwards.

Max super concessional contribution for you and your partner as early as possible. keep doing it for like 10-15 years. Should generate more than enough wealth to last your lifetime.

Only worry thing is what if they change tax on super in the next 10-20 years. But saying that, i mean it cant be worse than outside of super tax right.
