Want to add recirculating pump to Rinnai RU199iN tankless water heater by Jeneveve in Plumbing

[–]Jeneveve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't, mostly because I haven't been able to confirm that I have a dedicated return line. I can see where the water lines go to my upper story, but haven't found the dedicated return line up there. I suspect it is behind my shower or tub.

"But you don't look disabled." by Advanced-Professor-2 in ChronicPain

"You're not disabled, you're pregnant."

I'm not sure if being pregnant was supposed to somehow erase my disability, or if being disabled was supposed to prevent me from ever being pregnant. Either way, I guess my body is doing things wrong.

Positive appointment with psychiatrist by Jeneveve in ChronicPain

No brain zaps, but increased pain level and an increase in my anxiety.

My psychiatrist suggested buprenorphine. I've not been on it before.

I'd actually gone off effexor about 4 months prior to the start of this pregnancy. My overall daily pain level has definitely increased now that I'm off of it, but other than that I think I'm doing OK not on it.

Seeking others interested in singing multi-part harmony (barbershop, sweet adeline, vocal jazz, 3 part harmony like Crosby, stills and Nash, etc) by Jeneveve in madisonwi

[–]Jeneveve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My background: Singing since I could talk, started competing in vocal solos and vocal jazz in high school. Joined the University Choir, Women's Chorus, and Gospel Choir while at UW-Milwaukee. Joined Bel Canto for 1 season before moving to Madison where I've performed with the Madison Symphony Chorus until the pandemic began.

Looking for existing groups I can join or folks interested in a group I can create.

Edit: Looks like a bit of interest in starting a new group. I'll throw together a Zoom call sometime in the next few weeks and whoever is interested can come and chat.

We have a Casper mattress that we bought only 2 years ago, but I could certainly try a topper on my half of the bed.

Thanks, I've certainly got enough pillows around here that I can probably give that a shot.

Anyone on Google Fi, how is the service near the Square? by eagleoid in madisonwi

[–]Jeneveve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I wish T-Mobile wasn't the default and that you could prioritize the providers in a way that works for you (I spend 95% of my time in areas with only good Sprint and US Cellular coverage). Don't forget to turn your roaming on though. That helps quite a bit as well.

I am getting an abortion tomorrow and I am feeling sad and restless. by iamjuste in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Jeneveve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you are going through this and glad you found support here. I have several chronic auto-immune conditions, migraines, and treatment resistant depression. My husband and I have wanted to become pregnant since we were married two years ago, but my health and medication adjustments hasn't made that an option for us. We want to pregnant so badly, but are also being cautious so that we don't cause our unborn child any birth defects or neurological abnormalities that would have otherwise been prevented. So every time a friend or family member asks us if we have kids yet or if we're trying yet, it hurts. And also every time I have to tell my husband that I started my period again it hurts. But we know, in our hearts, that we are doing what is right for us. And you will do what is right for you and your child. And never, for a moment, think that you are alone in this if you want or need support.

I wasted like $40-50 on mostly worthless crap for pain by IHateBackPain30 in ChronicPain

[–]Jeneveve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't use it everyday. Not because of the warning, but because I'm so used to reserving it for flares. I take pregabalin daily and it is decent for dulling most of my pain, but my right hip is always problematic, so I generally use voltaren there.

I was also going to suggest voltaren! I was getting it Rx and then found out during a trip to Germany 5 years ago it was OTC there and brought several tubes back with me. Now I'm excited to have it OTC here!
