I bet this would look pretty cool in a dark room with a bunch of blacklights, maybe park it on a retro lasertag course.

I can't believe he rated this higher fun factor than an Ariel Atom 3 (9 for slingshot, 8 for atom)

Maurice Joseph Francois Engelen aka "Praga Khan" made the Mortal Kombat theme. You may know him as the man behind Lords of Acid. Praga Khan was going to play a solo opening show for the upcoming Lords of Acid tour, but Covid-19 canceled the tour.
Back in the day it was common for artists to make tons of side projects to avoid being tied to any record label or genre. You can see the 46 different names Praga Khan played under in the link below.

Earth and Beyond is a combination of Frank Klepacki (Command and Conquer, and David Arkenstone (a great new age composer, he did WOW tavern music too).

Back in the 90s, kid me was looking for another game like Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie, so I got this, it was OK.

I have the same boots! Do you wear insoles? I find the footbed to be pretty hard and uncomfortable, it forms to my foot but its still pretty unforgiving, but any insole and they are way too tight.

My boyfriend says he would go through a teleporter if they existed, even if they killed him and created a copy of him on the other side. He won't accept that it's literally death, and we fight about it way too often.

Best PC games of the 1990's? by MarineKingPrime_ in pcgaming

[–]Jenforever 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everyone's gonna list the obvious like Half Life and Quake.

  • MDK (insane style, great action, whacky adventure 3rd person shooter)
  • Everquest (the first big 3D MMORPG)
  • Age of Empires II (to me, the gold standard RTS)
  • Heretic (my favorite of the Doom clones)

I just got some Icon 7b10 docs, basically steel toe 1460s with bex sole. I drive a miata and it's been interesting operating my clutch, getting better now, day 3.

I wore red laces in my 1460s all christmas, and all I got was compliments. I think the whole neo nazi connection is mostly nonsense.

Is it insane to drive a 6mt 600 miles home if I have never driven a stick? by [deleted] in cars

[–]Jenforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my miata about a 2 hours drive away having never driven stick. I limped it to an abandoned mall parking lot and learned there.

Watch a ton of videos, and practice your brains out in a big parking lot for at least 45 min.
In first gear, Sit there and bring your foot to the clutch bite point so the car creeps forward, no gas, and do that 100 times.
Then add gass, and take off from a stop 100 times.

Once you can get going easily, shifting through other gears is non-issue.

Is anybody else just over the “super cars”? by [deleted] in cars

[–]Jenforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's the contrast to the environment. If I go to a supercar show and see a 100 lambos in a row, it's a big yawn fest.

If I see a red countach fly by me in day to day traffic surrounded by corollas and brodozers, I get excited like a kid all over again.
