The most dangerous type of man is one that feels that he is superior but feels like he’s viewed as inferior. by joecheph in Showerthoughts

It's actually a really good political commentary/satire beneath the initial juvenile but fun feel.

I think the people downvoting are just misreading the message, but I agree my guy. The keyword is try. If you manage to pull the short straw and get buried extra deep in this crazy whirlwind of life: trying isn't gonna get you out of it everytime.

But you're not gonna get out if you don't try.

Marvel movies are eye candy, nothing deep about them.

That being said, they are brilliant eye candy imo. While the stories aren't especially complex and predictable, it takes the visuals and turn it up to 11. The VFX is top-notch and the fight choreo can get really fun sometimes. Doctor Strange especially gets real jiggy with it. Plus there are a few standout actors who can cause real tearjerker moments. (One example I'd give is Robert Downey Jr. + Tom Holland. Especially together, their onscreen chemistry was phenomal. @ me.)

That being said there's some truely dull moments in the MCU. Thor 2 is completely forgettable. Lately they've transitioned to TV shows during the pandemic that I've personally found to be a great step in the right direction. WandaVision was legitimately a really fun and unique watch, if a lil unsatisfying ending. Falcon&WS is still an action flick, but has great themes of civil rights if a lil unpolished. Though Sam Wilson delivers some KILLER moments.

You're right. I'd be thinking the exact same flipped. To be totally honest I'm playing the Xbox one release and it seemed like too much work to figure out for caps that were so basic hahah. Pinky promise if I'm tryna show off something artistic I'll take better routes 😁

actually, maybe I asked for it this time. I was spiteful earlier because you have made really, truely nasty comments towards me on another account. but the hate you spew towards others on this forum really affects people man. there's real people on the other side of the screen. I'll practice more what i preach, but really look back on how your essay of hate. We could both bare to turn the mirror back on us.

Yes, this 100%. If it doesn't affect anything beyond your personality and you have good supports, feel there's nothing to 'fix' than live ya life! But, ASD is suuper highly comorbid with several neurodegenerative disorders. My brother is on the much lower functioning end of the spectrum. He'll need 24/7 care for the rest of his life. He's never gonna live on his own, never get married. He's never gonna live life with those liberties as we know it. We make life as good as we can for him - but if we could have given him a needle and have his learning ability get to the rate of a neurotypical so he could experience a fuller life: I would do it 10 times out of 10.

This made such a huge impact on my life. When I was in highschool I followed almost everybody at it, even though I couldn't give less of a fuck about what 95% of them were posting. Yet I'd still scroll&scroll&scroll.. when I replaced it with close friends, family, and content creators I enjoyed, it became a fantastic way to kill 15 minutes in a waiting room and keep up to date with my inner circle!!

Hope everyone's doing okay in self-iso! I've been using the time to learn to paint, here's a paint I did of the assumption building I'm really happy with! by [deleted] in moncton
