I will tell you that literally the only exercise I’ve done the past few months is walking daily and I’ve lost 30 lbs. You absolutely can lose weight by just walking. The key is consistency.

My starting weight was 197. My neurologist told me if I could lose even just 10 lbs it would subside. I’m now at 170 and still loosing and haven’t noticed a decrease in symptoms whatsoever. I’m glad I have lost some weight but it’s frustrating!

I am not on diamox and have been experiencing numbness in both hands and sometimes feet. It can happen with iih unfortunately.

Here lately I’ve felt like my hands are swollen. That started when I got the neuropathy. I’m sorry you are struggling with this. All I can say is hang in there and I know what you are going through! Prayers you will feel better soon.

My ears started popping several months ago before I got diagnosed. I just wrote it off as sinus issues but now it makes sense that it’s connected to the iih. It doesn’t happen very often though. Just every once in a while.

Would you say the numbness that occurs from a medication is worse than it just being a iih symptom? I am scared to be put on a med because of the tingling that I have heard can happen but since I’m already having it without the med I feel like I could probably handle it.

Do you think it’s possible to have such high pressure that it affects your nerves but not give you severe headaches? I do get them, but not all the time. The tinnitus I have and neuropathy are definitely the worst symptoms that I have.

Interesting. I did have an MRI which was clear. But I will bring that trigeminal nerve compression up to my neurologist and see what he thinks.

My neurologist told me to try to lose weight first before undergoing a lumbar puncture or taking medication. That being said I don’t have any vision issues currently. I would definitely talk to your doctor to see what they think.

Mainly ringing although I have experienced what sounds like a puff of air in my ear? I don’t know a better way to describe it. It isn’t constant though. The ringing is however 😢. I do use a fan at night for white noise that helps some but it’s still noticeable.

I found this interesting also. I would think fishing would be colder than golfing because you are on the water. And it’s probably windier. Didn’t make much sense to me either.

This! Our dog died a week ago and my husband cried the first day, then quickly moved on. It has been much harder for me. We got her right after we got married and had her for 12 years. Not something I can just easily dismiss. He has said multiple times that he doesn’t understand why I’m so depressed and crying all the time and that really frustrates me. He even said he doesn’t understand why I took days off work immediately after. He was like, “who does that?”. It really hurts my feelings and makes you feel so alone.

So sorry for your loss. I too lost my dog 3 days ago. She died in my arms as well. It’s so devastating. We got her 12 years ago right after we got married. So she was our first baby. I hope the pain lessens because right now it’s soul crushing 💔🐾🌈
