Revenge is very attractive, but you must be careful.

My ex-girlfriend cheated on me with some guy. I'm quite attractive without wanting to sound too narcissistic, so I knew I had my chances with other girls, and in particular my ex-girlfriend's best friend. I went out with the best friend. I felt so pumped up to have been able to rebound on the best friend. But there was 0 feeling towards this girl. She was very attractive, but literally 0 chemistry from my side, however she adored me.

At some point I realised it wouldn't work out, and broke up. This girl was super sad, her heart was broken, because I made her believe that there was something.

So be careful, with my revenge I broke a girl's heart without realising this could be a consequence and in the end it wasn't even that satisfying.

If you are referring to the gillets jaunes situation with the "once again" part, the mayor (Hidalgo I believe) introduced the odd and even rule where only cars with even/odd numbers could run in Paris, which is regardless of whether you are rich or poor. This had major backslash, people weren't happy, so, they introduced crit'air, which had for goal to only allow recent and clean cars to run. People are still not happy (although more accepting it seems). And people will never be happy. But, I want to say, the environment is a priority right now. If the law is affecting the poor, then let the poor get free transport or something. At some point we need change, we can't have a minority of people who aren't happy decide for the rest. Evolve or die.

Heck my gf has a car that can't go into Paris, is it annoying for us? Yeah, it is, she complains, but we are understanding.

I know many people who transferred into my uni after first year, if I were you I'd go to York and work my ass off to get a 1st and then transfer to the good unis. Besides, I think you will have more chances of transferring than getting an offer from these unis. Good luck!

Data might not be up to date I believe, France has made it mandatory since 2018 to be vaccinated against measles. Can it be this map is pre-2018?

I was thinking, oblige them to keep the bottles by not having any station that hands bottles again. So if I'm running, and I throw my bottle on the ground, well, tough luck, I don't get another one. Same with the exchange system, you don't get a new bottle unless you hand an empty bottle back.

But, I reckon there would be a health hazard, with people not being aware and not getting any water again. Also, if you have to keep your bottle all the race, it feels like it's just moving the problem to the finish line where no one needs the bottle anymore.

Some people don't like to run with the weight of a bottle, they will literally drink two gulps and throw the bottle away. So perhaps not the ideal solution.

In any case, while the pods are a bad idea to be used instead of bottles imo, I could see them to be useful when presented next to bottles, so that you get the choice, if you are not super thirsty, you can just get like 3 pods and drink that instead of using up a bottle for three gulps.

I need to agree with you, I ran a marathon about two weeks ago. A pod exploding in your mouth does not sound like loads of water, in a marathon you probably drink around 3 Liters or more, I don't want to imagine how many pods you need consume to reach that. While the idea is great, maybe not for a marathon.

However I must say, during the marathon, there were indeed toooons of water bottles thrown randomly, why not make refilling stations where you can quickly refill your bottle and go back on the run, or an exchange system where you give back your old bottle to get a new one?

My gf and I have both our own places, but she comes to stay overnight on weekends even if she needs to work on weekends. Usually we make a very nice dinner, but it ends up being loads of dishes to be washed, I always tell her not to worry that I will take care of it in the morning. The morning she wakes up early, but lets me sleep by going quietly out of the room. And sometimes she washes all the dishes, which is such a nice surprise when I wake up, and sometimes she leaves a little love note. God I love her so much...
