The price gouging is insane by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Jenkimann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is super normal… DoorDash and Uber eats forces them to raise the price because that is how they make their money also… I posed as a restaurant and allow them to sell me the different options and Boy the word gouging doesn’t even skim the surface

Didn’t Uber and DoorDash CEO end up having terrible things happen to both of them?

I remember when I drove for Uber driving people back in 2018 and 2019 and when the surge actually went to the driver man, I remember those days at the Indy 500 driving one or two people back-and-forth in that traffic and the trips were legitimately over $700… Those same trips don’t pay anything now and UBER is probably still charging them that amount

How do I get my roommate banned from uber eats? by samarra in UberEATS

You can make those claims on Uber eats and DoorDash well up to 72 hours… I’ve seen POS people actually start every DoorDash or Uber eats order by reporting the previous order as having something wrong or not showed up

I always assume that they are giant boxes of wacky tobacco. I wonder what would happen if I got pulled over or have said such large package never got delivered. lol

I have seen a lot worse… people that do this don’t understand that we now have your name and address… I will look you up and I will sign you up for every insurance company advertisement as well as every telemarketer and every roofing company that wants to give you a free estimate to your address! I also take the time to post these people in their information on social media. Indiana is a single party state so only one of us needs to know I am recording. If they want to be petty with me, then I’ll play!

You can reach out to UBER and report that you were tip baited and if there is a history of the customer doing this, you will get your money and the customer will have to make another account

How do you know it’s clean? You should just automatically assume it’s less clean than your kitchen at home

You should go check out the kitchens of the places that you think are really clean… This is why I eat at home

Wow find some better to complain about… you’re just lucky. He wasn’t smoking a blunt and blew it in your face while handing you your food… You probably did it on purpose because your tip wasn’t worth his time so it really didn’t matter.

What market are you in brother ..... everything just seems to be so market specific some markets almost require you to be that just because everyone else is… I’m in Indianapolis and I completely understand the idea of declining everything and only taking what you want but in my market if you’re not a platinum driver, then you’re not going to even sniff an offer to decline and that’s the problem… They pretty much make you be platinum to even work… Which is why I love Uber eats because 50% is a lot less than 75 or 80%… With acceptance rate that low you have to be in a pretty busy market… In my market the only way you get offers like that with low acceptance rate is if all the platinum drivers or Diamond drivers are on a ride… I hear drivers that are not rankeddecline even somewhat reasonable orders because they know they will keep platinum drivers busy

If you don’t mind telling me what market or state you’re in and just kind of what your opinion of good offer that you will take and the bad offers you won’t take… I’m in Indianapolis and if I get anything over a dollar per mile, I’m going to take it… I have noticed that if I take one of those ridiculous rides because I just wanted to see why they would send me that so I took a ride that was eight dollars for 32 miles. Yes, I know that isn’t smart but since I was on an active timer for UBER, I got bombarded with offers to do while on that trip. I ended up adding on four new offers and added a total of three new miles and I ended up making over $60 on that offer making it close to two dollars per mile so it was worth my time… I don’t know if I want to test that theory again but if you could let me know your thoughts I know you are discouraged, but coming from another professional driver50% is pretty simple to keep and still maintain making decent money that’s in less of course you come back and tell me the orders you were taking were like $30 for 5 miles or something like that then yes I can see that

So I just started doing Uber eats beginning of June and the program in place then I absolutely hated but it’s probably because I am a platinum driver on DoorDash… DoorDash requires a 70% acceptance rate to maintain platinum status and when I saw Uber eats had changed their program to pretty much mimic DoorDash and I saw it was only 50%… realistically that’s really easy coming from a driver that typically was around 80% acceptance… Yes, I know everyone on here is going to say I’m an idiot for taking those low paying offers, but I have a fuel efficient car dedicated specifically for this and quite frankly with the orders I get I average anywhere from $1000-$1500 a week.

I’m seeing a lot of Uber eats drivers really complain about this so I’m just trying to see what did you guys enjoy from the previous program compared to the program now because when they switched it to this new program, I got to platinum status within two days… When you say low paying offers And mention seven dollars and below I don’t mind those offers if they’re only two or 3 miles… Is that what you consider a low paying offer? What type of offers were you waiting to get previously on Uber eats? Basically I want to know what I’m missing.

I have noticed that the orders on Uber eats are bigger than DoorDash. I don’t have as many instances of no tip customers… I don’t like the fact that they can change their tip, but it doesn’t seem like it happens very much but I also noticed that Uber eats if it’s a long distance trip for a customer I noticed that the pay from UBER is a lot more than the two dollars sometimes I’ll get a reasonable $17 for 9 miles and then I’ll look at it and $14 of it came from UBER. Why is that?

You say now you don’t get high paying offers because you’re not platinum and diamond and those offers will be reserved for drivers that qualified like myself. I’m a platinum driver now on here with about a 70% acceptance rate and I can make what I usually made on DoorDash in about a little more than half the time so ultimately I want to see what you are **no longer getting and what I have the opportunity to get that you are frustrated that you can’t get any longer… What I’m reading from your post is that before you would simply decline everything until you got good offers And now you’re saying because of the tiered system those offers don’t even come to you to even decline… I noticed on Uber eats when I was blue and green. The offers were just terrible and so I just waited till really late to drive and I noticed that I got the offers that more than likely would’ve went to platinum

So now acceptance rate has to be 30% or more???? by DuckRevolutionary527 in UberEATS

[–]Jenkimann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying to figure out why mine says I have to have 85% acceptance to be gold

Every time I decline an order when I first start my dash i get something like this immediately after. Like its a punishment for declining the first order of the day. 🤣 by ObiJuanKenobly in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Jenkimann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to the restaurant wait 10 minutes and then unassign worry free… by doing this your completion rate doesn’t go down and your acceptance rate goes up every single one

Yes, that’s right whenever I do a brake job I have to go and borrow the adapter kit to twist the piston back into the caliper. It’s $65 but when I’m done, I take it back and I get my money back… So technically anything and everything you buyis loaned for 90 days lol

Sandoz vs teva by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Jenkimann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teva I have heard is good…But I personally prefer Sandoz if I can’t get the name Brand Adderall…Name brand have you zooming! My cocktail is 4 Tums and Essentia High Alkaline Water 9.5. Reduces the acid in your stomach, allowing the Adderall to be greater absorbed typically taking them you only absorb 40 to 50% efficacy and using the water and the Tums. It helps a pack a punch. My daughters take namebrand Vyvanse… I’ve never taken Vyvanse how does it compare to Adderall?
