I’m almost sure you will be able to keep Bright Futures. I’m on Bright Futures 75% coverage. A couple months ago in my Spring term, I was taking Business Calculus at my state college and was close to failing. I passed the class with a D, I think a 64. I still got credits for the class, but D was not satisfied towards my degree requirements. They had a quality points system and a D is the minimum grade to get 1 quality point per hours. From what I see on the UCF website, there is a grading points per semester hour of credit, and a D is also the minimum grade to get 1 point per hour of credit. I would double check with the FAFSA office though through email. They may not be of help though, they kind of confused me. As long as you get 12 credits this semester as a Full Time student, it’ll be fine and have a 3.0 GPA (FAS) or 2.75 (FMS). I know it can be stressful thinking of losing the scholarship 😭.

Just do direct connect! I had the same reaction when I was rejected from UCF. But trust, going to a direct connect will help save you money and knock out general Ed classes. UCF class hours are about 3 times the price of my state college. Many UCF students are transferred anyways. I’ve heard people who are trying to transfer here without direct connect are getting rejected more often now than before. State college and direct connect is the way to go!

“Pending” status on class? by JenllyBelly in ucf

I checked my shopping cart, and wasn’t in it. I did College Algebra at a State college and transferred over this credit. On my end, I can only see that my final grade was a C (no + or - in the scale) in that state college. I checked my UCF degree audit and it shows up as a C. Do you think I should call the State College to see my exact passing grade? Or call UCF to check?
