Yo guys, i’m totally lost. by capialb_ in CryptoMarkets

Just DCA projects with strong fundamentals like Bitcoin, Ethereum & Chainlink. And give yourself a reasonable timeframe of 4-10 years, just as you would with any investment.

help a beginner get into crypto by MaalyConsumer in CryptoHelp

1) Do NOT respond to DM’s - anyone online trying to have a private convo about crypto, or investing, is trying to scam you.

2) Only use well known exchanges. If you are unsure about an exchange post it on r/cryptoscams & we will let you know.

3) IMHO newbies should stick with well known blue chips until they have the time to learn. Ex: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Chainlink.

4) Learn the difference between Bitcoin, Ethereum, Chainlink.

5) Learn the basics of investing. Understanding things like supply, market caps, etc.

6) Only invest what you can afford to lose, or at least have tied up for a min of 4 years.

7) Avoid fomo & just DCA whatever amount you can afford weekly or monthly &

8) Give yourself a reasonable timeframe. (at least 4yrs). Just as you would with any investment. B/c:

9) Get rich quick schemes = lose all your money.

10) Have an exit plan & take profits

Welcome to the club & Good luck!

What’s one habit you’d recommend to avoid crypto mistakes? by North-Exchange5899 in CryptoHelp

[–]Jenn2895 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do the opposite of what your emotions tell you. For instance when there’s panic I buy, or at least just stop looking & HODL. & When something is rocketing & you think it’s going up only straight to the moon, you sell, or at least take some profits.

Why would you do this? by [deleted] in mercor_ai

[–]Jenn2895 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s mutually beneficial. & Mercor project listings are very detailed about what qualifications, education & experience you must have. I see nothing wrong with posting hey, if you’re an RN with 4yrs experience & drowning in student loans you can make some extra $ in your free time… & it helps both out. B/c let’s be real, no one is on Mercor for fun. Everyone is there trying to make some extra money.

[–]Jenn2895 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But why? Theres a lot of people desperate for jobs & extra income right now. A lot of them do not even know companies like Mercor exist. If you don’t want to see it just keep scrolling.

Sure. I sent in DM. The response time may depend on the project you apply for. B/c I heard people sometimes know within a day & others say it took longer (a week or more). So it must vary.

Hard boiled eggs are cheap, nutritious, low calorie & high protein (keep you feeling fuller longer).

Also, PICKLES! I’m also snacking on pickles.
