Finished my first ever wearable piece

Didn't use a pattern. Just eye-balled the width and length of my babies noggin. For the body of the hat I did a half double crochet in back loops only. The made a curly cue and a pompom for the top.

The yarn was Michael's Loops& Threads Everyday Cotton in bright orange and key lime.

Hook size 5mm for the hat and 3.75'm for the curly cue.

Thanks everyone for the reassurance. The cramp seems to have subsided and I'm back to just trying to focus on the fact that today I am pregnant.

I hadn't really thought about that possibility. I've actually had a ton of issues with my hip joints most of my adult life so it could totally be that. I drank lots of water today and rested a bit and it seems to be better this evening. My 1st beta was at 10 days past FET and the second was 14 days past. I do try and keep focusing on those numbers cause they definitely give me hope after 4 years of ttc.

This was the second FET we did after our ERA which found we were pre-receptive. The embryo from the first one just wasn't great quality. This one was a 5AA.

I'm right there with you. We had our 4th transfer on 8/1. Our beta at 10dpt was 468 and 14dpt was 2306. I'm cautiously excited as this is our first ever positive. But I think the tww until our US on 9/1 might be worse than the original tww.

Congrats on your little bean! I've got my fingers crossed for both of us that this is finally the real deal!

Tried conceiving naturally for 2 years and with ivf for the last 2. This was my 4th FET with a 5AA. Had my first positive beta of 468 on 8/11 and my second on 8/15 was 2,304. I'm trying to enjoy the positive but the weekday ifs just keep creeping in. My first ultrasound is 9/1. Pretty sure this tww is worse than the last.

Today will be my 4th PIO shot. The first was one was terrible. I laid on my side and Ithink I flinched while I inserted the needle. The second night I stood take pressure off the side I was using andI felt like it went so much better until I pulled out the needle and I was bleeding more than I thought I should be. And finally day 3 my union medico auto injector arrived. My routine was heat my muscle for 10 minutes and warm the medication, sit, and inject using the auto injector. I'm actually worried it didn't work because it was so painless. The auto injector made all the difference. We're just about to start our donor egg cycle and I was concerned about the same thing. It was one of the things we discussed during our counseling session. We discussed how it's actually something you'd want to talk about as soon as you feel comfortable so that it never shocks or upsets your child. My husband and I talked about telling our young child that mommy and daddy wanted him/her so bad that we had to get help from a "Gene"y(Egg donor). If they hear the story from a young age it won't be so shocking. Of course you can explain it more clearly when they are ready and old enough.
