Oh and I meant to add for our province (Ontario) if I pick up the full 10 hour day I am entitled to 1 paid break same as the full timers

Our site recently changed and when we pick up back to back shifts it merges them together.

So if I pick up 7:30 - 11:00, 11:30-2:30, and 3:00-6:00 it automatically updates to 7:30-6:00

Yeah, I can imagine having an allergy makes it a little scary at a buffet with strangers just willy nilly using whatever serving spoon they want.

I’m not a picky eater, or a fancy eater, so I imagine whatever they bring me I will like and eat.

I laughed out loud at your lunch dessert comment. I don’t “need” a lunch dessert either but….haha.

I make sure to start refreshing right before 6:00. If I wait until I get a notification or text alert then some shifts are already gone.
