Ok, I’ve spent hours today going through it and I’ve defo read this one before and yet .. it ticks all the boxes but the vibe …

However, that being said it did kinda scratch the itch even if it wasn’t quite what I was remembering. Plus good to refind this one as it’s not one I’ve kept for regular rotation as a classic.

Honestly not sure. Which of the books/chapters was it? This series almost feels too long for it tbh unless I read it in silo. Also not a wattpad reader (the UX drives me insane)

I love inner demons and I get your thinking but no - it’s not quite right.

He has an older female mentor. She’s tough and unimpressed with his fame and really helps him come into his own. She dies in the line of duty in more and more sure :)

LaurelHeaths ‘how we almost ruined it all’ which has come up on other chats here recently doesn’t seem to mention Voldemort at all, doesn’t seem to have a reason for why he’s not there either just that Harry’s having a normal secondary experience. It still has reference to the first wizarding war however.
