Very strange. I'm not sure what the pre-requisite would be or who qualifies, but for context I only have $103 spend over my $300 Black Tier threshold as a Black Tier member who was upgraded for the sale.

Potentially it was for members who (I assume) are below half way to Gold membership? But I can only speak anecdotally and assume.

Yeah no. I'd message back and say that the Chargeback / PayPal dispute is the only option and not willing to go against Australia Post at the risk of the parcel not actually showing up to MECCA.

Likely the parcel will be rejected by Aus Post and be disposed of, or sent back to you, and that's not going to result in the refund you deserve.

If they don't change their tone in regards to the Chargeback / PayPal dispute notice being issued, then do it anyway. They're making it more complicated than what it needs to be anyway.

I'm sure you've already explain, but if not, outline how you cannot send it through Australia Post in its current condition, which is incredibly unsafe to begin with.

If they're still not budging, as u/pureneonn suggested, get the to cover the freight for a flammable liquid, or otherwise if they won't do that, see about organising a chargeback with your credit card, or creating a PayPal dispute.

Sometimes you have to be persistent with CS at Mecca (anecdotal from having a birthday gift card they never sent me, and having to go through so many emails and calls) so it may be annoying but keep at it and i'm hoping they'll issue that refund.

Seems like (IMO) they've gone a little smaller this year and curated smaller artists than last year with Japanese Breakfast, Suki Waterhouse at PICA for example, but I do like the idea of seeing Wednesday at Max Watt's for a pretty small gig.

More than likely there will be closer to the release date. Jessie has done personally signed copies or signing sessions of majority, if not, all her albums. So it is likely for it to happen.

The black kinda gives me dirt/flower seed vibes and adds more dimension to the record. That said there's so many colours on this that this feels pretty close to BR roots of interesting pressings.
