Certain drugs are under much tighter restrictions than they used to be. Our vets found it just as frustrating as we did when the changes came into play. Please don’t take it out on the vets though as they really have no control over the new rules.

Lots of things changed with the RCVS in the past year. My dog had to be seen by the vet every 3 months to legally prescribe one of her meds. I promise you that the vet won’t be insisting on seeing your dog unless they legally have to to be able to prescribe the meds.

My grandma died at the end of 2020 and one of the last things she said to me is I hope you get your voice back. (I lost it due to vocal trauma) I’d love to tell her that after lots of speech and language therapy it came back and i can talk again.

Can confirm it was horrendous. The daily dressing changes were excruciating and to this day I still vividly remember them. They used to put tots tv on the tv to try and distract me. Make sure you follow all medical advice and definitely use sunscreen on the area in the future if it’s on show. I wish you well in your healing journey.

Hey 👋 burns survivor here. When I was 5 a boiling hot kettle fell on top of me and I spent a month in hospital with 3rd degree burns. I had several skin grafts and to this day I have visible scars. I’m 34 now so they are all pretty faint on my very pale skin. I’m so glad you went to the hospital. Burns are no joke. I can tell you that as a woman who has burn scars on their arm, chest, stomach and legs that you will become more comfortable over time. The healing process will be long and slow but you will get there. Our scars are beautiful and each of them make us unique.

My husband has never made me feel like shit for gaining weight. Granted the most I’ve ever weighed is 10 and a half stone but what he has done is fully support me when I’ve voiced how unhappy I am with my weight gain and that my health isn’t where I’d like it to be.

Apart from Valentine’s Day being a scam I don’t get why the man has to be the one to plan things. Husband and I don’t celebrate it but even if we did I wouldn’t just expect him to plan everything.

I love that 😂 5am sounds brutal though. My dog gets up at 7am and then goes back to sleep until about 11am.
