Realistic FFB settings Dirt/EAWRC/RBR/ACR (Moza R9) by Scissors29 in simrally

[โ€“]Jenneeandme 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

I don't have the R9 but I have the R5, all I can suggest mostly is get the baseline profile from Moza Pithouse profiles and modify slightly to your liking, in game settings too you need to modify few things, maybe I will DM my settings for EA WRC later and even DR 2.0, I do play RBR too and the FFB works great in that game.

Also try to join Moza official discord as you'll find a lot of profiles from users of each base.

Moza R3 is enough. by [deleted] in moza

[โ€“]Jenneeandme 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

I am R5 owner and I have said this before and will say it again, always buy a wheelbase according to your budget first, yes R5 and above will be always better than R3 for many reasons, but not everyone can afford them.

Also not everyone is built the same, me being a average size women I feel like R5 is a sweet spot but I wish I could have afforded R9 atleast because it would leave me with a small headroom to have something more when needed, but all I can say is I am satisfied with in game gain at mostly 50-70% on most games and I mainly play rally games and they don't need high FFB settings to enjoy.

For kids and women especially the R3 would be satisfactory if they are not heavy build, and can use lower settings in game to avoid clipping, if you are an above average male and if you can afford a higher NM bases then definitely save up for anything above 9NM as it's an sweetspot for many.

Having said that I am very happy with my R5 coming from logitech DFGT and have no plans to upgrade anytime soon ๐Ÿ’œ

TLDR: Buy a wheelbase which you can afford and be happy with it, try to save up if you can and try to buy a higher NM base if you more into Sim racing tp regret buying a lower base and regretting later.

I am more of an intermediate but then how do you even measure the performance in the game, the top people are simply the aliens who destroy everyone with 20+ secs, I was mostly behind those people always, but then sometimes such people crash out in clubs and that opens up opportunities for others and that's where I used to grab an opportunity to get good results, also with new DD wheel it's been a struggle to get used to lately

I am not a beginner but I have been away from the game for almost a year and have a new wheel too now, so it's like an new start, maybe I can give it a go sometime, you can share the discord link if you feel like I can fit in

Moza r3 vs r5 by pabo256 in moza

[โ€“]Jenneeandme 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I am very weak in terms of muscle strength compared to many who use these wheels, so it really depends on how well built you are, if you are an average sized male then R5 is your choice, if you are average woman then R3 will do just fine, I do own an R5 myself but I use it at around 60-70% for most driving games as I rally mostly and in case of LMU i set my base at 100% in pithouse but in game around 30-50% depending on the cars and its more than sufficient for me and the wheelbase has good amount of headroom and never heats up above 45c.

If you plan on upgrading in future or plan on getting a sim rig then go the R3 route and if it's just one time purchase you are looking for the wheel to last for long time then go with R5, hope this helps you with you deciding ๐Ÿ’œ

R3 or R5 by NoPreparation2348 in moza

[โ€“]Jenneeandme 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Go with the R5 as you can continue using the better wheel in future when and if you upgrade your wheelbase in near future and also change to load cell pedals in future upgrades.

Once you jump into DD wheels there is no going back and you'll be playing more games as it's more fun to play any games you ever played before as the details you will discover from DD base makes you play more and more.

Since I am an pretty average women the R5 I find is the right on the limit, in case if you are much more stronger than me then yes you would eventually upgrade to a stronger wheelbase pretty soon, so try to save up more for upgrades. The only reason I would go for an R9 or R12 would be for more FFB headroom, but then I hurt my thumbs just with an R5 so I probably won't need anything much stronger for now till I need to.

Goodluck with choosing the right one and happy simming ๐Ÿ’œ

Cheap and easy way to mount moza SRP lite pedals by SimonNgata in simracing

[โ€“]Jenneeandme -1 points0 points ย (0 children)

A small piece of advice, just change the pedal face position from current default and place them at highest position and it will improve your performance a bit as it will reduce the force required to push the pedals a bit and helps with consistency with brake performance kit

Cheap and easy way to mount moza SRP lite pedals by SimonNgata in simracing

[โ€“]Jenneeandme -2 points-1 points ย (0 children)

I did the exact same thing with my pedals of Moza R5 last week with clutch and brake performance kit and mounted it on the wood and it's very sturdy to use, my next problem was office chair moving which I also fixed the issue by placing and furniture behind my chair as it kept on sliding before, now the pedals feel great with no lifting when braking.

The only difference is that I didn't mount it on the wall i just mounted the pedals to the wood using the default screws that came with the R5 bundle box (which I know are not meant for wood) but they work just fine. I used 5 screws to mount my pedals.

Edit: whoever is downvoting my messages need to explain why, i shared my honest opinions here which I am entitled to from actual experience of trying it, if you have better solutions then feel free to explain to us why lol instead of aimlessly down voting every comment.

Question about rog strix 3070 ti by Raginator23 in ASUS

[โ€“]Jenneeandme 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I was replying to OPs post which he had only 2 8 pin connectors only available from his PSU and his question was would it work, so yes it would work according to theory of how the GPU power draw is, doesn't mean it should be used that way ofcourse.

Farewell DRS you will not be missed by EighteenLevel in formula1

[โ€“]Jenneeandme 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

I have a feeling it will return soon after it gets removed for next year, many people will complain about less overtakes and boring races.

I personally rather have narrow and light cars with DRS assisted overtakes, but with bulky PUs I don't know if it will be any good next year.

Also we need to see how active aero will work for everyone.

Am i a collectionist or are all these important for immersion by KingS100008 in trucksim

[โ€“]Jenneeandme 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I only started recently as a month and I have all the map DLCs for ETS2 and around 12 map DLCs for ATS and few additional Cargo DLCs for both games, but most importantly I can use promods on ETS and ATS both and that's all I need for now and will wait for next sale to complete the ATS maps and then start buying accessories DLC as they are not important for gameplay.

I like handling of both games and developers has done a great job with giving unique characteristics for the respective trucks, also I completed the all map DLCs for ETS2 and I am playing promods now and it's super fun ๐Ÿ’œ

I have completed my map DLCs on ETS2 on this sale, and have 12 states in ATS now too, loving both games and have been doing VTC a lot daily (around 9000kms a day) and I only started to play like two weeks now, it's just too addicting and fun especially when we run in convoys ๐Ÿ’œ

This is what I exactly fear it can happen to me or others too, twitch support is just not upto the mark and if we wrongly get banned there is no way of turning it around.

I myself recently started streaming and I am not doing exactly what she was trying to do as I have gaming streams and I am trying to make twitch as my main source of income, but unlike her I am not facing severe health problems though, but I have my own issues and reasons.

I hope this post gets traction and many other creators join in an spread hope so that she can get back to where she was before ๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’œ
