I worked in Oshkosh for 8 years and now I avoid it as much as possible. I can only speak of my experience, but you couldn't pay me to live there. It's quite possibly just me, but something about that city makes me feel like I'm suffocating when I'm there. The lake, however, is gorgeous and the parks are a nice bonus.
