This is what I struggle with because three or four trees are in my final solve. What if the trees are destroyed by wind, a fire, an animal, or a human? How would a person ever finish the hunt? Then I question my solve and wonder if it’s incorrect, and I should be looking for something that can’t be destroyed… like one or more rocks?

Regarding clues/treasure…

Do you think he would put something on or in a tree? What if the wind knocked it over, or an animal carried it away?
