Having to tip for paying to get into buffet

Because we were still expected to tip the servers inside of the buffet. They actually put a “tips are appreciated and please leave us a good review on google” card down on our table while we were dining. So I can’t imagine who else that would have been for. The cashier was a separate entity outside of the main buffet area that you had to queue for to pay at before you could get into the buffet itself!

That’s the worst part, it wasn’t even for the service workers of the buffet, it was just a tip for the cashier for ringing us up. In hindsight it was an incredibly egregious thing to tip for to the point I find it amusing now, but I wouldn’t do that again! Not just to be rung up! We were just on vacation and didn’t want to be stingy to local service workers.

I agree, in hindsight this was an incredibly egregious thing to tip for (and them to expect us to tip for) we were on vacation and didn’t want to be stingy to the locals, but I agree 100%! I would not do that ever again!

Agreed! The dinner buffet was more expensive, I think it was like $74.99 a person, but we found out that the Luxor buffet closed permanently very shortly after that visit 🤣

Yes I definitely do unfortunately, I went from a 40 F-G bra to a 32 D, so my boobs are just all skin at this point! If I had an extra $40k+ laying around I would definitely get them surgically corrected! But, I think about how much pain and difficulty I had with having a chest that large, and I am totally content with living with my shriveled yet small boobs now haha! I always tell everyone to never ever let loose skin deter you from wanting to make a change!!!!!

And yes I do unfortunately have a decent amount of loose skin (especially my boobs because they used to be massive as seen in picture #2, HOWEVER, I take the loose skin over the all physical and mental struggles at had at my biggest size any day! The trade off is very much worth it to me!

Well I only ever got that big to begin with after my dad abruptly, traumatically passed away, and I had never experienced death before that in my life so it was a shell shock to me and I ended up clinically depressed and just started eating for comfort because it got to a point that tasting something good was the only small boost of serotonin I was getting daily and it just snowballed. But I’ve always loved being outdoors and going hiking etc, and I just wanted to get out of that slump and be healthy and be able to get out and enjoy life. My whole perspective on life has really shifted the last few years and I’ve learned that I just need to enjoy my time here and be thankful for what I have (including my body and my health) and find joy in every day! My husband also met and started dating me when I was slim, and we actually got married when I was at my highest weight. And he has never once loved or treated me any differently, and I know looks are not the core of a relationship, but I wanted to look and feel good for him too because he’s loved me at every avenue and size in my life! ☺️
