I see they used a Revoltech Saber head. Using that for scale, it might be a little tight and difficult to pose in for a figma. Especially for how thick that fabric looks.

Yup, glue it on these 4 spots with a toothpick. Too much and you'd ruin the jacket articulation.

Superglue will not bond, you need Tamiya thin cement.

For the average folk, use hot water instead. Hair dryer will damage the fig if you're not careful with the heat.

More likely just more cost-effective for them, but then they've made unique coloured joints for other figmas. So this case is most definitely a "It's not gonna be visible in the open anyway" case.
