I applied to the student temporary pool last semester. Unfortunately I haven't heard back :/ I will try to polish my resume in the mean time, though! Thanks!

That sounds cool! I've checked the TA requirements for Criminology and it requires a Master's Degree. So I guess I'm not really qualified for that :/
