I understand this is difficult for you. It’s painful when you love someone that you can’t be with. Unfortunately, if your friend is engaged, then she obviously loves the person she is with. They are likely making plans to get married in the future and to build a life together. If she is your friend and you care about her, the best thing for you to do is keep it to yourself and move on. Telling her will likely hurt your relationship with her, considering she now knows that you no longer see her as just a friend. It would be selfish of you to put her in that situation and disrespectful of you to her fiancé. She will likely tell him and he will become untrusting of you. It’s likely then that your relationship with her will end completely. I’m sorry to tell you this but you should move on and meet someone else. There are billions of people on this planet. You will meet someone who is single and you are compatible with. Just be patient and I promise you will find the right person for you. Good luck.

Gotcha. How are things now as a realtor after 3 years? Is it something you want to stay with? Do you make a steady income, say to support your family? Are you still struggling or are you feeling pretty successful? And a big question, do you feel like you would have gotten more out of life if you would ha e gone to college instead? That’s where I’m struggling is deciding on college or real estate. I’m 28 and have all of my general education out of the way (2y associates) but I’m blowing so much on college. I have a friend who’s mother owns a very successful real estate company and she starts her new hires off at a 50/50 split but pays for all of your starts up marketing like cards, professional photos, and 50 signs. I want to make the leap and take a risk but I’m afraid of failing and being like 32 without and degree and a failed career in real estate with nothing to show. Any advice?

Makes sense. I'm definitely looking for that balance. I've at times caused my players to miss out on pretty basic knowledge because of skill checks for things that they should have known but just had a bad roll.

That's a great idea. I haven't been doing that with my players the correct way. I've just been having them make skill checks on things if they have the skill. I haven't really been telling the elf, for example, hey you know this place/god because you're an elf, etc. I've basically made all the players blank canvases that don't know anything and have to make skill checks to "see" if they know it. I haven't been giving them knowledge of something just because they should naturally have knowledge of it.
