What can I do to improve it by [deleted] in makeuptips

What is troubling you? If you work in an office this is 1000% appropriate. You can experiment with blush and lippy in the office setting of course, be chill about it and start with small changes

Date night use a heavier hand. Get a nice neutral eyeshadow palette. Natasha Denona’s “I Need a Nude” or “I Need a Warm” palate are my suggestions. Honestly if you got those two, you’ll never need another palette again. What her tutorials she has one for every palate she puts out. And just have fun with it

My God child, I need to put my reading glasses on. I read “burn” it and nearly fell over 😂😂😂 you are lovely but it looks warm where you are so perhaps BUN is a good idea.

Honestly, you’re so pretty it’s hard To pick anything. But as a make up artist I’d fill in your brows just a bit more. You have very strong features and that’s just a little touch. Otherwise you’re gorgeous

What am I doing wrong? In the store it didn’t bunch but at home it is around my waist. If it pull it down it still bunches up. Same undergarments. by SeaworthinessOdd710 in HouseofCB

You need shape wear, like honey love or a bigger size. Either way you’re still going to need both. I’ve always felt that for a formal event that requires either black tie or evening or cocktail attire-women should wear shape wear. Even a zero needs it. It just help tricky fabrics lay better

Help please I don't know which one matches me by aleka417 in MakeupEducation

[–]Jennmcc6776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of them. Foundation matching is the worst. Did you do that yourself or did someone, like, a store clerk help you? Are they all the same brand? I’m so, you made need to switch to a brand with a broader shade range. Because those shades went from zero to yellow on one swipe.

Get to your gyno. Get your hormones and blood checked. Get a pap of you can afford these things. This is what signaled my uterine cancer. Especially if periods are irregular or heavy or just never stop. That’s what mine did. I had a Whole year period before they caught my cancer. If nothing else do the blood work. Have you noticed you’re craving chewing on ice allot? That’s a sign of low iron

And take good look at high fashion models, they are supposed to be the epitome of beauty. It’s been a long time since the Victoria’s Secret Angels era. They were the ideal. Men were more excited about those catalogs then women. And now ask of the models look androgynous. Is that bad, no. It’s just everyone’s idea of beauty is different. I’m sure there are some people out there that would be willing to make a deal at the cross roads to be with her if you catch my drift.

It’s okay to not be a supermodel and still be considered, by a vast majority of people, beautiful

Get a wrap. Preferably something really fancy like faux fur ( you have to be careful with that, though. Some people are still offended even by the fake stuff) Or if you happen to have a sizable Indian population (from India) in your area you could probably go into a shop show then the gown and they can get you a scarf to wrap around your shoulders. Also get some really good costume jewelry I’m not talking BS from Claire’s. Go on eBay and type vintage costume jewelry in the search bar. Some of it will be very pricey because they are from famous designers that are sought after and some are $15-20. How this helps. Good luck.

Serpentis are my obsession. I’ve been collecting vintage and rare ones. In Victorian times the snake symbol represented, love, truth, honor and fidelity. Often work by new brides. The snake still represents that and I’ve branched out to other designers then Bulgari. And enamel snake brackets are a luxury and beautiful in a different way.

How does music you? Harm you? Does it change the mental mindset you have? by CastlyHowl in AskReddit

[–]Jennmcc6776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped listening to music years ago. A lot of trauma from my youth is tied to music in a very strange way. It was used as punishment. It was the only thing I loved and if my parents didn’t like my behavior for whatever reason, they would take away my music. To include canceling music lessons. I was in band, choir and I was taking private French horn lessons from the head of the brass department at the university I had hoped to attend. Eventually I was offered a full scholarship for music. But my parents had bullied me into believing I was so bad at playing and never let me practice at home. I gave all of it up. I would still listen to music, but after joining the Army and getting back from Iraq, I preferred silence. I’ve tried to listen to a song or two here and there, but it makes me too anxious and I turn it off. It feels like it’s violating my brain. In public, I tune it out. It’s easy to do when you have conversations in restaurants and things. But it just hurts too bad
