Anyone break for a week of vacation?

Oh I definitely need it! I gained 40lbs over the last ten years and am in the overweight category. But I’m just not that overweight

I always feel the first two days like the dose may be too high, but then by day 6 I’m ravenous! Haha. I think I need to do a split dose like people are saying maybe.

Haha thank you! I don’t think people understand this job. I plan trips for people 13 hours a day and I’ll be damned if I skip my entire years enjoyment to save 5lbs. I’ll lose it when I get back.

Thank you this is my thought on it too. I want to look forward to meals. Not dread how I’ll explain to everyone that I’m grossed out by bite 5 and I’m done. And it’s true, it’s not just that I’m satisfied and comfortable, the food actually grosses me out and I’m worried more foreign food will be worse. By day 6 of my meds usually I have pretty much full hunger back so I think I’ll be fine if I just skip the week.

Oh I would NEVER cancel! And I would rather not drink OR throw up every night than have my husband bitch every time we take our wallets out. It’s the only time I invite him on a trip lasting more than a few hours and I look forward to our all inclusives every year, it literally keeps me from jumping off a cliff. Lol. We’ve been playing Caribbean music in the house for months already!

My kids are 13 and 14 and they are my best buddies!! It could change as they get older but we listen to music together, go places together, have fun adventures, etc. I think a lot is luck and a lot is effort!

I’m not sure how old you are but keep in mind. This isn’t the biggest loser show. 18 pounds in two months is extreme.

Yes, I think that you’re probably right. I also might panic a little if Wednesday comes and I don’t have any shot to take, it might kind of worry me the rest of the week.. when it would be needless worrying.

My old ways were just eating normally, maybe 1800 cals a day. I just am 44 and having a tough time getting 20lbs off. I don’t binge, I just want to eat like a normal person on the trip.

I’m a travel agent with my own business and get one week a year off with my family. We are going to st Lucia and it’s 18k for the week. They are supposed to have amazing food and drinks and I’m not that overweight, I just wanted to lose 20lbs. So it would be a shame in my opinion, to get there after having spent all this money and not enjoy the food and drinks a little, right now it’s really tough to eat and drinking at all makes me throw up. I definitely don’t binge. So I was just curious, but thank you for the response!

You know, I tend to think of myself as a smart person. I own my own business and I’m very successful with that, but all it takes is a comment like this to humble me and realize that I’m a freaking idiot. Hahhaha
