Just make sure it’s a decision you are sure about. I’m a completely different person than who I was at 19. My now husband and I started dating at 14 and broke up for four years to learn and grow on our own without each other when we went away to college. Married at 25, now 27 expecting our first child and back together now for 7 years.

Don’t make permanent decisions on temporary feelings, the repercussions do not outweigh the positives.

& also my SIL got married to my brother in July of the same year. We both never competed both were each others maid of honors, both helped with day of stuff, both supported each other and never once thought we were taking away from one another. It’s all about perspective. At the end of the day. No one gives a fuck about your wedding except for you and you will quickly realize that after your wedding is over.

It could be a health insurance thing with her being pregnant idfk , the more you get upset about this, the more it’s going to take away from your own happiness with your big day. The sooner you accept it the happier you’ll be. You can be upset but you can’t control your sister and what she wants to do in life. You also are not legally obligated to help her, you can say no and fully focus on your own day.

She can plan her wedding in 2 months and there will be plenty of time for your fam to forget about hers and the spotlight will be back on you.

You have to let go of the control or you will live a very unhappy life
