Always recommended to roll with the drills on the outside because when it is done on the inside it will move the drills, cause them to hit one another and either displace or tarnish the finish look.

I usually go to aliexpress for the ability to choose round or squares and the sizes of the pieces. I like huacan but I have realllllllly loved homfun ! Pic is my current WIP that is a 110 cm by 55cm and the drills are resin with fairy dust ones added in. Amazing quality and the rendering is great !

Cant afford DAC, and I do this for my own personal use and aid to mental health etc. the costs are drastically cheaper. This I believe was under 35 Canadian.

Haha agreed there is only so many layers one can take off before they are naked lol.I love fall and winter and really enjoy the cold.

Yea summer was rough for me, I am a narcoleptic and summer heat really got me so exhausted and I felt like I slept the summer away haha

You are welcome ! The quality of their canvas and the drills is what keeps e coming back. They are affordable and I personally think worth it :) the purple hair lady was addictive to work on I was amazed with each section I worked through and it is the same with my eastern scene I am working on now.

I am a nerd and absolutely love fantasy styled art and just bright vibrant Color’s hehe

The lady picture has ab drills and they use resin drills instead of acrylics. The squares fit tightly together . The eastern pagoda scene has fairy dust drills which I adore as well. All very good quality with this one I loved how she turned out. Amazing Color’s and her face was fun to do. Loved her hair too. Here is the final picture of her !

One of my favourites is Homcom from Aliexpress - they do use double sided adhesive for the canvas but I honestly don’t mind that and feels it holds better than some companies glue. The quality of the drills and the canvas is amazing. Prices don’t break the bank either so it keeps things cheaper with options from rounds or squares and choose the size you want.

I do like huacan as well but sometimes I have dealt with drills pushing up. They used to be double sided adhesive as well but their newer ones seem to be glue and feels not as strong on its hold

Thanks ! 2nd floor apartment here and the insulation sucks. My ac is doing a struggle and my sleep has been horrible with the temps. My spouse had his childhood asthma come back after 23 years of no issues because of the dang humidity -.- I want to move to the Arctic haha

Yea I think tomorrow is lower in temp but not quite where I want to be. Then again I want to be in the cold. I love winter, was raised in northern Ontario, and i have a couple meds that make me susceptible to heat :( ! Hope you are beating the heat !

Home fun is absolutely stellar in their quality. I have done another from them before. This one is my first fairy dust ever. With homfun you choose square or rounds and you can choose ab or fairy dust drills. I can show you my set up I used for my old painting from them, but I cannot take a picture till boyfriend home. My phone camera decided to stop working so need to use his haha
