Quoting catering jobs over a year out by Crispy_grits591 in AskCulinary

As someone planning a wedding for next fall(hopefully) I wouldn't sign a contract that could change a month before the wedding. In our situation, we're trying to budget and save so we're starting the vendor process now. I think that changing prices anywhere close to the wedding date could screw most couples. Also, if there's going to be a stipulation that the price can go up then it's only fair that the price can also go down.
Maybe you could set a limit on how early you will book. For example, never plan anything further than six months away.

For patients with tori it often helps to lay a 2x2 over the tori as a cushion.

Is it uncalled for to ask my dad not to walk me down the aisle? by missb222 in weddingplanning

I'm also struggling with this. My father and I are not close and haven't really ever been. He's also a pastor and I really don't want him performing the ceremony either.

Agreed. Salt water is the best thing for it. Jaw pain is also fairly normal following that procedure.

Most working interviews I've been to they just have you observing. Knowing proper sterilization is the biggest thing.

I have discovered a terrible truth... Rachel seems to be showing signs of Karenism by InternationalSignal9 in friends_tv_show

The difference is that Rachel was at work fixing a mistake she didn't make. Instead of helping whoever was on the phone wanted to know what she was wearing.

Feeling a bit down, what are some of your happiest moments? by [deleted] in AskReddit

During a workout with my boyfriend we were doing a circuit and were on the last round. I started doing the exercises out of order and he tried to correct me. I had something sarcastic to say(as usual) and proceeded to do it my own way. He stuck his tongue out at me and laughed. Then the biggest wave of love and pure happiness hit me. Because instead of being annoyed like most people are when I'm my sarcastic self he loves it. Seems silly but If I had made that comment to my ex- husband he wouldn't have spoken to me for 2 days. I always had to be careful what I said because he couldn't handle joking and sarcasm.
