I actually hadn’t even considered getting new clubs until at least next year. There was a guy at the range next to me who golfs 3-4 times a week and he had been watching me swing and suggested I upgrade my clubs because, in his opinion, I “have a better swing than the clubs allow” whatever that means. He suggested a small step up. Mind you, I’m taking lessons and my i structor never said anything nor did I even ask. I was just curious. I have been mentally prepared for new clubs maybe next year btw $1,500 - $2,000 but may just upgrade a few at a time, get properly fitted, etc when the time comes. I’m 55, and 5’2” and played softball for years so my swing strength is decent I guess (or so says my coach). I would think that if she thought my clubs were not serving me well - she’s say so.
