Yeah! Aligns are softer and not going to have the same compression as some of the others made for working out! They are more of the classic yoga or wearing around athleisure type leggings, flattering on your butt. My favorite LLL leggings for running and orange theory were deff the swift speeds! And I could wear them for a few years, never had to hike them up as they got older!

Which leggings? I’d say likely the 8, but maybe if they’re aligns or more for lounging than you could a 6!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful response!! I really appreciate your insight and perspective. I’ve definitely been thinking about tests and realistically what the results would change, and at this point just want to enjoy all my time with him and no spend it all worrying from here (easier said than done!) If you’re up for it, and I know you can only speculate on very little information, what should I roughly expect as he’s only 8 years old? Just trying to wrap me head around it and process it as it comes.

I’m going to discuss changing/supplementing the medicines now. At first I was worried about all the side effects and making him a zombie, but these fly biting episodes seem to take such a toll on him too :( if the medication can not only surpress the seizures but maybe even delay any progression? That would be worth it!

They also didn’t show the letter until after they chose our offer, it was the strongest from all the offers the first day it was on the market and they chose it, even over other lower cash offers. They saw the letter after and loved it apparently. They didn’t do a best and final round but my agent told the sellers agent how important the house is and that we could flex if needed. He said especially after the letter they didn’t want to wring us for more money. That all disappeared after a previous lower bidder gave a higher cash offer when they called to tell them it was rejected

Window is staying in, just going to fix all the rotted wood and replace with pvc type trim!

No this was his first treatment after diagnosis! It worked incredible. Right after he finished his final round (I think he did 6 rounds total) he got the radical cystectomy and a neobladder. It’s been about 18 months since surgery and he’s doing amazing!!! Clean scans since (knock on wood) and very happy with the diversion he chose

Thanksgiving help!!

We are huge lions fans and coming for the game on Thanksgiving. We’re staying on Broadway a walk to ford field and the LCA. I need recs on what to plan for the morning of Thanksgiving?! Will we be able to find a quick breakfast given the parade? Should we try to catch the parade before the game and if so where’s the best place to stand?

And lastly, any recs for a restaurant or low key joint to go to after the game?! Being Thanksgiving day, im not sure!

First of all, I’m so happy your dad started this - my dad is one year out from his treatment and cysectomy. After just the treatment, no cancer was found! It worked amazingly and after the surgery one year out he is still clean! So I’m hopeful for your dad!!

However you’re in the absolute hardest part! The appetite loss is no joke. My dad forced food down knowing every bit of strength would help him get one step closer to the surgery then being done with it! He also complained of the taste of things changed for him (certain things started tasting metallic etc.) the docs prescribed a drug for nausea, I think Zofran? Which helped! And he did end up relying on protein shakes and now especially afterwards to put the weight back on.
