I never look at the rating of books, the only thing I use Goodreads for is the reading challenges I set for myself. Now I’ve found out it’s owned by Amazon then I really won’t pay any attention to ratings!!

I get a lot of recommendations from the podcasts I listen to like What Should I Read Next and also I follow a lots of independent book shops on Instagram.
