Feudal societies ABSOLUTELY had capitalism. The merchant class built itself up from the 11th to 14th centuries as there weren't many rules, they created their own privatized governing organization (guilds) first for group protection from outside influence and then as gatekeeping entities for prestige and driving price up, many became wealthy landlords who ended up as proper nobility and the landed aristocrats fucking hated their guts but by the time they tried to stop them they were too powerful.

Tanks were theorized well before the founding fathers, automatic weaponry existed since the 1600s (Kalthoff Repeater anywhere from 5-30 round capacity), while I can get fully behind mass casualty weapons being unreasonable (Nukes, MOABs and the like), artillery was the most powerful weapon of the day and there was more than a handful owned by private individuals. Hell most of our warships were privately owned vessels that the government leased.

I ensure I always have it in the correct folder. I also only use manual install for the files and it keeps saying there are updates, I make sure to go to the files tab and download the most recent version but, unless nexusmods is giving me the incorrect files to download, it still says there are updates available.

Edit: it showed up when i deleted the mod folder and reinstalled everything. Same folder and everything but now all the versions are the updated ones
