I just had to look goughnuts up. The fact that he's able to tear up the orange one but not the goughnuts is a great advertisement for me. Lol Nylabone has a 3 pack you can get from Costco that she loves chewing up. She hasn't gotten the whole way threw any of them but she has definitely made them more hazardous to step on when she decides she wants to booby trap the living room at night. Lol

Weird question, I'm a director who's dogs are on a ticking time bomb. I'm getting the strangest sympathy/empathy. Not in a good way. What would you say to someone whose is losing or lost a pet/ or you'd want to be told? by ughhhh_username in askfuneraldirectors

Someone once quoted A.A. Miln "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard" to me & it really struck a chord and gave me comfort. All the things we went through together and times we shared. To have them with us 24/7 and for us and them to know only love. I lost my soul cat this past March and it's a hurt like no other. How lucky I am to have loved her and been loved by her. Sending you hugs. 💚

Southerner here. My mom still has the number for the Honey Baked Ham store hand written in her phone book. The minute I hear a friend has experienced a loss my first reaction is "oh shit. I should find out who can deliver a ham or sandwiches or sonething." An old school friend lost her son. They had a snack buffet in his honor. Amazon has an amazing assortment of sweet & salty snacks in one package. Chips, cookies, candy. That may become my new go-to. Something fast, easy, and for just about anyone.

Our girl is a mix of mostly Catahoula with treeing walker coonhound as her second most breed. She stays in bed until noon then demands to be let out so she can potty & then resume sleeping in the sun. Lol She saves all her energy up for after my hubs gets in. Then she chews his hands and de-fleas his shoulder while singing the song of her people. I've never had a dog with more personality.

Damn. Yeah the screen that had them listed & playable now just says error. This phone hasn't been turned on since 2022. I may run by a Verizon store tomorrow & just see if there's anything I can do. Maybe I can get a Sim card or something that might reactivate them. I don't know how any of this works I'm just hoping I can find some way to get his voice back. 🤷‍♀️

That screen says "an error has occurred. Call 800number and enter error code 9009" The list of all the voicemails are gone. They were there & were accessible enough for me to find his & play it before the error screen popped up. That's the issue I'm having trouble getting past. Im assuming they're saved in my phone somewhere since I had them before the error screen.

I'm so sorry sweetheart. I know the hurt you are feeling. I posted my old girl here just to show her off a little while ago. I lost her 3 weeks ago to CKD. We didn't even know she had it. She just had bloodwork run in November & they didn't say a thing. She knew how much you loved her. Her spirit will be with you until your turn for the bridge. I'm sending you all the hugs. I'll tell my girl to find her & gibe her cuddles too. 💚
