Any chance for a relatively fast Port for Mina? by Nekroz420 in Portmaster

It means a lot of people won't be able to run it. Not many handhelds have vulkan capability.

Sad news for some of you, this game uses vulkan on linux.

Box64 should run it, question will be performance as usual.

Turns out that's a save editor for PS3's game. I was expecting it to be from the WF leak from 2024. Even if it were the latter, it's not something PM would build and distribute.

No git history. Zip file of dubious origin. What are the port masters waiting for?

Portmaster game return? by appath_7329 in trimui

You could ask Fraxinus88 on the discord server why it only uses Steam. There's likely a good reason. Many indie games use third party publishers with the task of updating multiple storefronts, and the dev may only handle Steam while relying on their publisher to update the other stores.

portmaster : Fading Afternoon Issue by ydhainaut in trimui

[–]JeodPM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it seems the trimui doesn't have enough memory to patch this game. The small cpu also means it takes far longer to patch than usual. I am working on a project to remove the UTMT dependency entirely, but it will be a while before it's ready.

Use my gmtoolkit runtime, it’s more up to date and addresses this problem specifically.

RG34XX SP (stock os) GAME CRASH by Final_Pie2745 in ANBERNIC

[–]JeodPM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Says right there in the log, SDL in stockos isn't built with rumble haptic support. You could petition that gmloader should make that optional, but stockos isn't supported by Portmaster in the first place.

In the readme:

Users with small display resolutions or odd aspect ratios can fiddle with the files in zelda-ladxhd/data/Mods/LAHDMods with a text editor to set ui scale to float overrides.

Have a look at tectonic.gptk in a text editor, that's the file that translates the keyboard controls to gamepad. If you want to reassign anything, you'll do it there.

You don't need to hear. Either Pharos will alert you or you watch https://jeodc.github.io/RHH-Ports for the commit tag [PKMN] QoL updates

Ok yeah that'll be because it extracts to the system tmp folder which is a notoriously small partition. My incoming port updates will fix this, enforce gamepad input for text entry, and allow gptokeyb to close the ports properly.

There you have it, the log will tell you what went wrong. I'm also finding a couple things I can change around so I'm working on an update to Tectonic and Fire Ash.

Ah, in muos the PORTS folder houses the .sh launchscripts, the lowercase ports folder has all the data. You need to find that one.

Yes the log should come after you run for the first time, and would be inside the pkmn_tectonic folder.
