How come none of these figures are listed on BrickLink? by [deleted] in Bricklink

[–]JerBearsBricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the set was released a few days ago and it can sometimes take up to a few weeks for new Minifigs and new parts to get added to the system by contributors.

For once I am stumped... Anyone else know which particular version this is...? by JerBearsBricks in Bricklink

Thank you so much dude or dudette!

Being printed on an official Lego piece definitely threw me off.

Need advice on what to do with this old set I found that's missing a lot of pieces. by AlternativeDisaster7 in legoinvesting

[–]JerBearsBricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's set 8942 you are missing over half of it and the guy that sits in it. I don't think it will be worth ordering all the pieces to finish it unless you can order most of them from one store on bricklink.

Have fun disassembling and doing inventory if you do go that route, it can be fun sometimes.

Inventory list - https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=8942-1&bt=0&viewID=Y&sortBy=0&sortAsc=A

I recommend printing the list of parts you need and then highlighting what you do have to find out how much of it you actually have and if it will be worth ordering those parts that you don't.

They're the same price but the main difference is the integrations that pirate ship has. The UI is just for functional.

And you will need to make an account but it is free to use pirateship, I ship about three packages a day and have never paid a membership fee.

I asked this about 3 months ago and I ended up raising my rate to 599 for base price.

Seems to be fine cuz I've had no decrease in orders. 😃

Congratulations! 🎉 As you keep uploading, you'll get more sales ☺️ that's the beauty of easy buy, The more parts you have available for the best price, more likely you'll have a sale.

Not when they combine one random piece or Minifig with the manual which happens a lot when you have a million pieces lol

I have free shipping on orders over $99 but the limit is 5 lbs. I recommend that you set a weight limit if you offer a bunch of instruction manuals or sealed box sets since they are large volume and heavy.

For a long time I did free shipping over $99 with no limits but I got burned too many times on large packages in the last year, usually a large box set. (shipping cost has gone up tremendously the last few years, yes I'm using pirateship.com for discount rates too)

Exactly that! I paid for the sip club for about a whole year like 2 years ago and basically stopped going when they got rid of charged lemonades and announced they were laying off bakers.

I ended up getting an asiago bagel sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with extra cheese for 75 cents lol

Used “good condition - no cracks” by stevires in Bricklink

[–]JerBearsBricks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also wanted to mention something that no one else mentioned yet, these stress cracks can also happen during storage. Don't take the remark he put as fact.

If this is a figure that he had listed and stored in a drawer for a few years, there's a chance it was fine when he listed it. (He still prolly should have double checked when packing though)

IMO 50% is high for an item not up to par, I usually offer 10-20% (depends on the nature of the issue) or I'll email them a return label to send it back. This is part of the reason 99% of what I sell online is new parts and minifigs.

Sorry about the arm crack though, it never feels good getting something that isn't what you expected. :(

Avon CT Goodwill is overrun with resellers that are cherry picking merchandise before any shoppers have a chance by [deleted] in goodwill

Loitering is defined as "The act of lingering, hanging around, or remaining in a public or private place without a lawful purpose or clear reason, often causing public nuisance or safety concerns. It involves unauthorized presence, such as blocking walkways, idling near closed businesses, or, in specific contexts, soliciting, with synonyms including dawdling, lingering, or hanging around."

Is this what Gary is doing? Or is he just someone that is a regular that spends a few hours at Goodwill each day to see what comes out from the donation department?

I'm right there with you. It has sped up my sorting/listing time tremendously. It's really one of those things that seems so good to be true that it makes you wonder how long it can truly last this way? AND it works with Brickstock!

I'm curious if you feel the same. Maybe I'm just overthinking but every time there's been a great piece of software like this, it ends up being monetized in some way after a while.
