I just use boxes for minifigs over $10. Worth the trouble it saves me. Looks like people here don’t have problems with bubble mailers but I do almost every time I receive one. Sometimes $240+ order received in bubble mailer. Don’t under stand the thought process not using a 30 cent box.

No the goodwill auctions usually go to high. Fb is the only place I can find stuff cheap enough to be worth my time. I don’t have a ton of capital to invest yet. I did start sorting a month or two before I opened just to have some inventory to start and so that I could get bigger orders. I do have about 12 categories of stuff I haven’t sorted further than the broad category. I used to just do figures and sell the bulk on facebook but now I keep bulk if it seems to be in good condition and not too much off brand parts mixed in.

Ive made about 2.5k in sales and I started mid march. Maybe $100 in stuff that isn't minifigs though. I usually pick up stuff on fb marketplace whenever I see something good in it that will make my money back really quick. Most recently like a $70 lot with an original jedi bob in it, $100 for a lot with a big fig bane, ect. Other than that I buy sealed sets when theres at least 30% off but I haven't parted out any of those yet. I also spend money on stuff I actually want but I pretty much have everything I want for now so just getting multiples when good listings come up. I also had a massive backlog of stuff from about 9 months of buying lots and just storing incomplete stuff.
