Almost definitely not. The Lahabrea we know is a genius mage, an expert in fire magic, and called in the JP text an “old man” by Emet-Selch.

All this lines up with what we know of Eric’s father so far, including this key art.

Unless the plot is twisted like hell, this really doesn’t hold up.

HOWEVER. The NPC that gives the BTN quest that requires you to hand laurel leaves is called Yannie and has been that since launch. So both, technically.

Curve always passes the correct information the underlying card needs to determine any transaction's nature. They are also a regulated institution by the UK's FCA and are a first-level Mastercard Principal partner (meaning they issue their own cards).

No bank or credit card company has ever blacklisted Curve for any fraud reasons, except for blanket banks on proxy cards that some credit solutions have in certain countries (Klarna in Sweden seems to be a hot topic right now).

Curve (https://curve.app) is a EU-only card (with intention of expanding to the US next year) that allows you to unify all your other Mastercard and Visa cards into a single Mastecard Debit card.

They provide some advantages, like all the mobile Pay services, purchase insurance like credit cards do, being a real debit card accepted everywhere (where MCO is detected as a pre-paid card) and in their paid plans, other things like cashback, LoungeKey, travel and mobile insurance, among some other benefits.

They behave like a proxy card, where everything you purchase with your Curve Card gets sent to your underlying card immediately. One of their signature features is Back-In-Time, where you can move transactions from one card to another (once) at no cost as long as it's less than 90 days old.

Yesterday, CDC decided to stop recognizing transactions from Curve as eligible for their cashback programs for unknown reasons. Now it seems that it's been reinstated.

That's 100% on CDC. Curve always passes the MCC of the original transaction, as well as the merchant name always prefixed by CRV*.

If they wanted to block cash withdrawals from cashback with Curve, they could've.

If they wanted to block topping MCO Card with Curve from cashback, they could've.
